Bush in 2006, amid a storm of protest over Iraq, defied many of his generals and green-lighted the surge. One analyst says that brave and honest surge opponents will give Bush the credit he is due for his historic leadership. Don't hold your breath for kudos from Obama, Reid, or Pelosi.

Violence is down 80%. A sad day for the American-hating left. Nothing cheered up the left as much as more reports of body bags from Iraq.

I don’t know of any time that a leftist/liberal ever admitted to being wrong,
or accepted the blame for the failures of their policies.

And, of course, the DhimmiRats and LibTards will jump all over the saddening incident in Sadr City, today. They will point to that single incident as even more evidence that the Surge isn’t working, can never work, and that it’s all GW’s fault.
I’m really getting sick of these mental midgets...

Don't kid yourself: being a Liberal means never having to say you're sorry. Or having to admit you were wrong. Or ever admitting that a conservative might be right about anything, ever. The current strategy on the Left is to ignore what is going on in Iraq, except when American soldiers are killed in what they refuse to contextualize as increasingly rare incidents.
It happened just this morning. I can't remember the last time I saw a story on Iraq on Good Morning America. This morning, two American soldiers were reported killed in an IED attack, and sure enough, there was the story. Never mind that not a single soldier had died during the past week up until that point. That inconvenient truth is not considered newsworthy because it might help Bush, McCain, and the Republicans, and the media simply can't allow anything to interfere with the planned ascension and coronation of Prince Obama.

In order to be a leftist in this country, you have to really want your country to lose. Sad, isn’t it?

On a positive side, they are disappointed all the time...

If Obama is President, this one is an easy win. We will be immediately proclaimed very rich spiritually.
