Fred’s Principles

At Friends of Fred Thompson our mission is to explain how great a leader and future President Fred will be. We believe to take the measure of a man you must understand his principles. What will be the standards he applies as issues come before him? Fred Thompson has clear principles he has honed through his years of public service. We now have those principles on the Fred08.com website. Here are a few:

Individual Liberty. As Jefferson spelled out in the Declaration of Independence, our basic rights come from God, not from government, and that among these inalienable rights is the right to liberty. We must allow individuals to lead their lives with minimal government interference.

Personal Responsibility. The corollary to liberty is responsibility. No society can succeed and thrive for any duration unless free people act in a responsible way. All of us must take responsibility for our actions and strive to improve our own lives and to contribute to building a better society.

Federalism. Our Constitution innovatively guarantees our liberties by spreading power among the three branches of the federal government, and between the federal government and the states. In considering any action by the government, we must always ask two questions: is the government better equipped than the private sector to perform the task and, if so, what level of government (federal or state) ought to do it. Washington is not the seat of all wisdom.

Traditional American Values. A healthy society is predicated on belief in God; respect for all life; strong families centered on the institution of marriage—the union of a man and a woman; and self-respect and tolerance of others. While we are all free to live our lives in the pursuit of our own happiness, the government has a responsibility to respect the right of parents to raise their children and to promote the values that produce the strongest society.

These principles will guide a Thompson administration. What do you think?

just an example here:

Terrorism. We must make our enemies know that Allah is not nearly powerful enough to protect them from our wrath.

I think there is an issue and a way to develop it that would help the Fred Thompson for President 2008.

There is a new study released called the Breast Cancer Epidemic. The smoking gun of the study is ABORTION -- which is considered the best predictor of breast cancer -- according to the article.

Both Hillary Clinton and Rudy Guiliani have favored abortion despite the fact that for years it has been at least been suspected that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer.

If both of these candidates were truly concerned for women, then they would have come out with information about the risks of the Abortion-Breast Cancer link.

Here are some helpful links on this issue. I honestly think it is something that can make a difference in this campaign and hopefully attract women voters to Fred's campaign.

FreeRepublic Article on this:

New Study Shows Abortion is 'Best Predictor of Breast Cancer'

The article from The Journal of Physicians and Surgeons called The Breast Cancer Epidemic is:

The Breast Cancer Epidemic -- http://www.jpands.org/vol12no3/carroll.pdf

This originally came from LifeSite News. The article is found at that site as:

New Study Shows Abortion is 'Best Predictor of Breast Cancer'

There is also the following website:

http://www.abortionbreastcancer.com -- the Abortion Breast Cancer Link.

This website also gets into the BIOLOGY of the Abortion Breast Cancer link.

This is found at:

Abortion-Breast Cancer Biology link -- http://www.abortionbreastcancer.com/biology.htm

Basically, even though people may be pro-choice, if the harm of being pro-choice is shown, and the compassion of The Fred Thompson campaign, votes will be won. It is a fight that does matter.

WHY? Because the age of women/girls with breast cancer is getting younger and younger, and there are more and more women coming down with breast cancer...
