A Giuliani fund-raiser will be held Jan. 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the home of Bill Simon, the 2002 Republican candidate for governor of California, costing $2,300 a person and $4,600 per couple.
January 30, 2007:

February 1, 2007:
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
Well, Rudy's book IS for sale in the Reagan Library gift shop. That should be good enough to qualify Rudy for president.
You pose a question just like a shill democrat reporter. Very telling.
Rudy is not my candidate at this juncture, --- I do NOT have a favorite --- but looking at his enemies here, tells me that maybe I should give him a second look.
Gee, I guess we should just give up since Roe. v. Wade isn't overturned yet.
Rudy DID take guns away from valid permit holders during his tenure.
Shrill democrat reporters don't rely on facts. These are valid, factual criticisms.
Your hate speech is pathetic.
Really? What positions does Rudy hold that make him even close to acceptable to the GOP?
Let's be truthful, Peach. If you want to trash Ronald Reagan, at least get the facts right. Jane Wyman had an affair with Lew Ayres and in 1947 SHE announced the separation from Ronald Reagan. Incidentally, she had been married TWICE prior to marrying Reagan. While Nancy was pregnant before she married Ronald Reagan, the marriage with Jane Wyman was over long before.
Oh, and we all know your hero, Ronald Reagan, never, ever made a bad appointment. /sarcasm
Well, my computer is really dying and since I'm still smiling about Rudy getting that award with Reagan's name in it, you all have fun trashing a great American who Nancy Clinton and Ronald Reagan obviously thought was pretty terrific.
{{{HUGS}}}
(How many abortions do you think it takes to earn that sobriquet?)
I sincerely hope this won't continue for the next 21 months. It's not looking good at the moment.
He cleaned up NYC, too.
The way I see it, Nancy Reagan while a loyal companion to the President, was nonetheless a liberal Republican. Figure she authorized the Giuliani book to be sold at the Reagan Library. After all, Mrs. Reagan is a fan of liberal Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger. And probably a fan of Rudy too.
So, once again, Peach is trashing Reagan with bad facts. That's FOUR times. Pathetic.
Yes, I hear he personally ended the public urination on the streets of New York.
Giuliani, in a quid pro quo for the New York Liberal Party's endorsement and support, appointed Liberal Party Chairwoman Fran Reiter as Deputy Mayor.
How many liberal Democrats did Reagan appoint?
Hatred is hatred. And you can't hide yours. Do you find calling people baby killers an effective way to win hearts and minds?
Is someone keeping track of this anti-Reagan FRiberals? I hope so.
During a time when the national crime rate fell.
But, as Deroy Murdock pointed out, abortions in NYC fell 15 percent while Rudy was mayor - that proves he is pro-life.
Oops, except that the national aborion rate fell about 28 percent. While pro-choice Bill Clinton was president.
Perspective is everything.
I wouldn't let you hug me with my arms.
Hate is a wonderful family value don't you think? As is fanaticism. It's so good for the family :-)
