Letter not applicable today
Tampa, FL Florida GOP Chairman Carole Jean Jordan informed Congresswoman Katherine Harris this afternoon that a previous letter unethically leaked in todays news is not applicable to current party beliefs. Further, Jordan stated that the Florida Republican Party does not officially endorse or take positions in a primary.
Representative Harris commented this confidential letter was old news and Chairman Carole Jean Jordan has stated repeatedly this letter is not applicable today; further, Chairman Jordan said that she never expressed concerns about my campaign but rather the race overall against the incumbent. With a primary in process, the state chairman, the state committeeman and state committeewoman cannot endorse a candidate but all have stated their personal support for me.
The Harris campaign continues to move forward while Representative Harris fights to preserve the sanctity of marriage and traditional values, to lower taxes, to help small businesses acquire lower costing healthcare and to ensure that illegal immigrants are not granted amnesty. Bill Nelson has voted against each of these ideals.
It is high time for dirty politics and unethical leaks to be set aside so that the issues that impact peoples daily lives can be addressed, continued Congresswoman Harris.

We have told you to check out his website where it states what he stands for. Go here him speak when he comes to your area. You will see that he is a good candidate. About his age um John Kennedy was only 36 when he was elected to the US Senate.
Harris I don't disagree that she is a great conservative. but its one thing to be a conservative and another being able to win the race. There is nothing out there showing Harris campaign is going to turn around and improve. Actually her numbers keep going down while McBride's numbers go up. Currently Harris has a 57% unfavorable approval rating in Florida.

McBride has staked out very Conservative positions that most newcomers would never touch . That tells me he's principled in his positions .
Every candidate has to start somewhere , no one is born elected. If McBride plays his cards right, he can win this nomination and give Gump Nelson a run for the money .

Actually I think by you saying I am trolling you are calling me a troll and I consider that a personal attack. Good grief. You come to a KH thread looking for trouble and when you find it you get all sensitive and then defensive. Trashing the Florida GOP, IMO, is deserved in the case of KH but, it did not occur on this thread -- other than in your imagination.
If you're going to come here and attack the KH supporters and advocate for another candidate maybe you should be a little more careful and grow a little more skin.

You know I gave you my explanation if you don't accept it that is not my problem. I will not retract what I said cause I explained what I meant but I will include all the other Hardcore Harris supporters next time who also likes to blame everything on the GOP and believe Harris is 100%innocent in everything that has gone wrong in her campaign. Which does include you cause you never have come out and admitted that Harris is part to blame in her campaign fiasco.

Looks like McBride's campaign is not taking off like 'gangbusters' despite what his two fans tell us....
Here's more on McBride (who BTW is on his second campaign manager in as many months):
But after almost two months on the campaign trail, the Orlando attorney has struggled to build a campaign staff, has just begun fundraising, and the slight bit of name recognition he thought he had has been working against him.
Confused so often with Democrat Bill McBride who ran for governor in 2002, Will McBride had to send his campaign tour bus in for a new paint job.
To clear up confusion, "we had to put 'Republican' on the side," he said.
That's just one of the pitfalls of starting a long-shot campaign against Harris, a Republican known nationwide.
McBride, 33, hasn't helped his situation by refusing interview requests for most of the past two months.
"It's taken time," McBride said recently outside of his downtown Orlando law practice.
Too much time, said Matthew Corrigan, a University of North Florida political science professor. Corrigan said McBride and the other candidates are learning just how big Florida is and how hard it is to build a statewide campaign on a shoestring budget.

"And I have never 'trashed the GOP in general' on this or any other thread."
Actually you did, but it was in another thread .
"I am still waiting for you to acknowledge that what you said to me was a lie."
He wasn't lying , he was probably referring to the other thread which we shouldn't go into on this thread .

Hey I didn't come here to start no trouble I came here and stated the facts. I have never once bashed Harris personally. I have only stated that her campaign is screwed up and if it keeps going the way it is there is no way she is going to win. It is partly her fault of all the troubles she has had .
In fact unlike some others I have given Harris praise and have given her credit.

Well, it appears that if you don't support Harris you get accused of being a troll .
There are certain folks on here who have been trying to bait some of us into a flamefest to get us banned . We are merely debating the candidates . I refrain from personally attacking any of the candidates, as I will support whoever wins the primaries .

We have told you to check out his website where it states what he stands for. I've been to his website. Why should I believe anything this guy says? Where is his track record in public service? He doesn't have one because he's been busy suing people and raising the cost of everything we buy, including insurance. He's a trial lawyer with no record and you want me to eschew a proven conservative for a guy that has an even harder uphill climb than KH? What is it about McBride that will rally and unite republicans in Florida against Nelson? He's a kid with no experience. Nelson and the media will eat him alive. You give polls way too much credibility this early in the cycle. Harris has a daunting task in front of her but I'm not about to give up my conservative principles to support some kid with no record of service other than to himself.

You know I gave you my explanation if you don't accept it that is not my problem.
And you cannot deny that post #7 was directed only to me personally and I had not 'trashed the GOP in general' on this thread (or any other thread) before you said that to me.
And to deflect from your actions you now attack me for not saying something you want me to say.
What a piece of work you are. Change tactics and attack me for not saying something you want me to say?
That's unbelievable but there it is.
I thought you would be a gentleman and admit what you did to me personally was incorrect but it is now obvious to me that I had overestimated your character.

Maybe in the future when you want to post parts of news articles you should post where you got it from and the date of the article. We never said McBride was a shoe in for this election unlike a lot of the Harris supporters think she should be. We know McBride has to work hard to get his name out and hes been doing that. He was at the Fair Tax rally campaigning and I know his campaign is scheduled to be at the 2006 YR Hob Nob in Orange County this Thursday Aug 3rd. Currently Harris's campaign is not scheduled to be there. It appears once again she is passing up another chance to campaign.
Once again your post continues to show that he must be doing something right since his poll numbers keep going up and Harris keeps going down.

Oh please. Look the polls are 30% + deficit and are stuck there, if not getting worse .
Look, if you don't like McBride , don't vote for him . It's a primary where we all decide who we think should represent the Republican party against the Liberals . Some of us just happen to think McBride will fit the bill . Some of us respectfully disagree that Harris is the one to take on Nelson .
But not to worry , i'll be there for Harris if she is the chosen one .

Post the exact statment you say I made that 'trashed the GOP in general' and provide the link to the post.
He wasn't lying , he was probably referring to the other thread which we shouldn't go into on this thread .
So I'm now supposed to read his mind when he posts directly to me?
BTW....he's a big boy and can respnd to me.....himself.

If we are not to vote for candidates who don't have a active track record in public service then majority of the people in office would never have got elected cause they didn't always have a public record and had to start somewhere. Where was President Bush's active track record when he got elected Gov of Texas he had never been elected before and only ran for office once before over 20 some years earlier.
