Letter not applicable today
Tampa, FL Florida GOP Chairman Carole Jean Jordan informed Congresswoman Katherine Harris this afternoon that a previous letter unethically leaked in todays news is not applicable to current party beliefs. Further, Jordan stated that the Florida Republican Party does not officially endorse or take positions in a primary.
Representative Harris commented this confidential letter was old news and Chairman Carole Jean Jordan has stated repeatedly this letter is not applicable today; further, Chairman Jordan said that she never expressed concerns about my campaign but rather the race overall against the incumbent. With a primary in process, the state chairman, the state committeeman and state committeewoman cannot endorse a candidate but all have stated their personal support for me.
The Harris campaign continues to move forward while Representative Harris fights to preserve the sanctity of marriage and traditional values, to lower taxes, to help small businesses acquire lower costing healthcare and to ensure that illegal immigrants are not granted amnesty. Bill Nelson has voted against each of these ideals.
It is high time for dirty politics and unethical leaks to be set aside so that the issues that impact peoples daily lives can be addressed, continued Congresswoman Harris.

there has not been one single poll having her anywhere in range of coming close to beating him
Remember how Bill Clinton got elected? All the "biggies" in the Democratic Party stayed out of the primaries that year because nobody wanted to wreck his career by losing big to Bush, who then had 90% approval ratings in the wake of Desert Storm. Sometimes the 'pros' get surprised. |
John sKerry sent him some of his old flip-floppers!!!
But why would you support someone when you can get the real deal who already has been in Congress and has the fire in her belly? McBride would get chewed up and spit out by the Senate RINOs, as they "bring him into the fold" or other crap. The guy would be like George Constanza in that Seinfeld episode when he gets "eaten alive" by the city. The GOP establishment just does not like Harris because she doesn't play the old get-along game.
There you go again with the poll numbers. If these poll numbers were about Bush, you and the bashers would be the first to denounce them. Funny how all of a sudden polls are accurate now.
"Why do you guys insist on throwing away your vote on no-name, token Republicans because the liberal media says so?"
How can you equate a primary vote to a third party vote ? You only throw your vote away when you vote third party. Primaries are for choosing the best Republican to run in the general . Surely you know this , you must be trying to bait me for an argument .
Come on ,read what I wrote . I said the polls are so lopsided that there is no way she can overcome them . If they were around the typical 10% or less range , I would chalk it up to madia spin .
It all comes down to fighting!
Our great Miami Heat got the same treatment from the "drive-by" L.S.M., yet Pat Riley knew how to put fire on the "Heat" to win the championship, regardless all the negative odds!!
With the help of our great grassroots movement who came out in full force in 2004, they will also show up in 2006 and bring us another championship, a new Junior Senator for Florida, Ms. Kathrine Harris!!!
Comes November 8th., there a lot of people and "freepers" who are going to eat crow!??!
Yeah the Bush / Kerry polls were always pretty close . They would bounce between 4 and 6 points in either direction .
"Comes November 8th., there a lot of people and "freepers" who are going to eat crow!??!"
If she wins , i'll be the first to admit I was wrong . I don't think I can say the same about the FReepers that think Harris will win . I will support her nonetheless if she wins the primary .
I did some googling and found this on McBride:
Orlando: Excerpt
In a Qunnipiac University poll released last week, 77 percent of the 520 registered Republican voters asked said they don't know enough about McBride to have an opinion of him.
While Harris has been running since June 2005, McBride and the other two challengers jumped into the race on May 12 -- two hours before the filing deadline. Safety Harbor developer Peter Monroe and retired Navy officer LeRoy Collins of Tampa are also running for the Republican nomination.
The late start made it hard to build a statewide campaign organization. A lot of campaign workers were already working on other races, said McBride, who is already on his second campaign manager -- Jack St. Martin.
He said he can't fault anyone for not knowing he's in the race. "I didn't even know I was running until May 12," McBride said.
How's it going Julie, I'll give a big TEXAS bump for Katherine!!
You two repeatedly assure us of McBride's conservative pedigree but never answer the posts questioning what we really know about him. We know he's a lifetime member of the NRA. Good start. But, we also know he made his fortune chasing ambulances and is now trying to claim that he's an immigration attorney. This is bad. He's just 33 years old and really has no public service track record to speak of. Do you think the media won't make hay out of this discrepancy should he win? What do you think the media will do to a 33 year old green kid who made his fortune off the misfortune of others? They'll kick his teeth in. How naive must you be not to see this?
Why should I trust anything he says on his website? He can't even be honest about what he does for a living. OTOH, Harris has a "92" ACU rating. What's McBride's ACU rating? How many times have we been mislead by candidates who pose as conservatives until they get elected? You two tout McBride as a real conservative yet refuse to answer the challenges to his credentials other than to say over and over that he's a conservative who can win. You're convinced KH can't win but you're doing a pretty poor job of convincing anyone here that your guy is conservative and that he has what it takes to compete in a statewide election for national office.
I aint playing games, I am voting for the person who best represents me in government.
This aint a Las Vegas gambling spree, or a stock market play.
"This is the future of my family, and my country.
But to put it in terms you may comprehend, I play these types of things to win, as if my life, and my childs future, depends upon it.
Because it does."
Who are you supporting ?
Bumpity bump.
I do believe if you go back and read post 15 you would see I wrote what I meant when I wrote "you all". That it did not mean you personally but the hardcore Harris supporters in general which you are one of.
