National Illegal Immigration Reform Leaders Endorse Bryant
Ed Bryant For Senate ^ | July 22, 2006

Three leading national illegal immigration reform activists today endorsed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ed Bryant, a former federal prosecutor and four-term Congressman, in the Republican primary. Roy Beck, president of NumbersUSA, Craig Nelsen, executive director of Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement, and Andy Ramirez, chairman of Friends of the Border Patrol all gave personal endorsements to Bryant.

In a letter to Bryant, Roy Beck, president of NumbersUSA said, "The U.S. Senate would be a much more responsive institution on matters of immigration simply from the one addition of you to its membership. I believe that you would not just vote the interests of the majority of Americans on immigration but that you would routinely take leadership - something that is particularly necessary when only the minority of the Senate reflects the majority will of the public."

"Long before it was fashionable, Ed Bryant was voting for good immigration legislation - legislation that benefited no one except the American people," Craig Nelsen, executive director of Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement said. "We can be sure Ed Bryant will continue to be a strong ally in Washington."

Electing Ed Bryant to the Senate is one of the most important things the conservative movement can do this year.

Tennessee Freepers need to make this their top priority.

Too little, too late. Corker is too far ahead.

My wife and I will early-vote for Bryant tomorrow, but I must admit that the Corker campaign has been overwhelming - and very slick. Except for a few Emails, I haven't heard a word from Hilleary, although I have been told that he has concentrated on the other end of the state.
