His nude workshops and civil rights-era jail time aside, Dr. Brad Blanton appears to have the support of Culpeper Democrats as the sole Democratic candidate against U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Richmond, in the November election...

...His workshops include yoga, meditation and spending eight days “together being descriptive and honest with each other.” Day five of his “Course in Honesty” workshop is when participants get very personal.

“We all take off our clothes, stand up in front of the camera and the other naked people and talk about what we like and what we dislike or are ashamed about our bodies,” Blanton said in his e-mail. “This is also videotaped. Then we tell the story of our sexual history.”

Looks like Mr. Cantor will surely better his last margin o'victory.
I went to his post reelection party, (after he trounced Cooter), and while awaiting for Cantor to speak I went out into the lobby. There he was, surrounded by his family, the women clad in somewhat traditional Jewish garb, (his wife is astoundingly beautiful). They were all cloistered together in the entrance way.
Just seconds later he must have been given the cue as the diminutive Congressman led his clan inside the ballroom.
I thought to myself, "Could he ever have a chance to occupy the Oval Office?"
My first thought then was of the former Albemarle County resident, Little Jemmy Madison.

There's no way Cantor can win against this guy and the powerful VA Dem machine. Virginia's becoming a blue state - hey, the Dems won the governor's race again! Oh, woe is us. I need to go meditate now...

The next day in the group, he went on, each person watches his or her video “so we can deal with their reaction to seeing themselves naked on TV,” and then the tapes are erased, Blanton said. The lesson of the nude exercise, he said, is learning to face your depression, stress and/or embarrassments so as to make them go away. Blanton said his in-depth seminars have helped thousands of people become much happier in their lives.

He sounds more like a voyeur than a psychologist.

I saw this in the paper yesterday - I can't believe this guy is running with this history. I'll be more than happy to vote for Eric Cantor - he's done a fine job so far and this moron isn't worth the ink to print the ballots.
