ROFL!!!!!!!!! "purty fine" is right :)

I have another 10 to go before I find out when I can walk on it.....or when I can drive again.

I never ask him how many screws he put in.....after the excruciating pain of the 20 staples being removed, I don't really care to kno how many screws are in there, just that they are going to stay there :)

Ouch...staples? I had stitches. Umpteen of them... was this on the inside or outside of your ankle? (Mine was outside.)I did have a problem with part of it pulling apart and getting infected. Had to take antibiotics for a while.

Ask to see the X-ray when you go back...if it's like mine, it'll look like a kitchen cabinet in there with all those screws..lol!!

Oh, if you are going to fly, you better have a letter from your doc explaining why your ankle makes the metal detector go off.

Ouch - an infection, talk about adding insult to injury.

I'll get to see the x-rays alright - I have to get those taken the day before and bring them with me. I don't mind that, because it saves me the 50 mile trip down to his office in NorthHampton county...by going to my own dr for the xrays, I can see the orthopod practically around the corner from me :)

I'd be happy if I could just work out in the garden - but it is so far fromt he house that hubby actually has to drive me out there because it is too far for me on the crutches, and the last thing I need to do is fall again :(
