RICHMOND -- The races for the Republican nominations for lieutenant governor and attorney general are setting fund-raising records as four of the candidates have crossed the $1 million mark 5 1/2 months away from the primary.
State Sen. Bill Bolling of Hanover County and Sean Connaughton, chairman of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors, are locked in a battle of the bucks in their quest to win their party's nomination for lieutenant governor in the June 14 primary.

Kilgore and Kaine say they are so different that negativity results
It's only January, and already the gubernatorial campaign between Democrat Timothy M. Kaine and Republican Jerry W. Kilgore has reached such a level of rancor that the candidates are being urged to cool it.
AND FINALLY from Schapiro (aaack! ptui!)...
About political winners and breadwinners
Lt. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine is trying to do to Attorney General Jerry W. Kilgore what the Swift Boaters did to U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry in the 2004 presidential campaign: hit him below the water line.
Bump (Thanks Corin)
I still get State Sen. Bill Bolling email report and Jerry Kilgores email.
I moved back to Buffalo 2 years ago.
I was involved with a few campaigns while I was there.
I lived in Fluvanna County and still get their communications from Feda Kidd the Chair.
I wish them the best of luck, Jerry Kilgore is a good man.
Thanks for the heads up.............
I've spent much of the day trying to track down info on 2 more cigarette tax poposals and a proposed total smoking ban and hadn't gotten around to reading the Times-dispatch yet todya.
Problem fer Kaine is that Kilgore never committed war crimes or aided and abetted our enemies during a time of war...Hanoi John Kerry most certainly did. Kaine's a small little pri%* and is gonna get his arse handed to him!!
FReegards...MUD
Thanks for all the links. I saw all these articles in the paper this weekend.
All I can say is, to the traitorous 17, you can raise all the money you want but our voices will be heard and you will all be looking for another job soon enough.
My new anti-tax slogan - coopted from the lefty loonies -
NOT ONE MORE DAMN DIME!
The only true thing that Shapiro said in his pro-dem opinion piece is that Kaine has not yet begun to feel the effects of the repubs highlighting his record.
Those are the only type of opinion pieces li'l Jeff knows how to write...MUD
ROFLMAO!
I just heard Cha-Chingchester on WRVA talking about the proposal to finish of the car tax. This is an exact quote:
"It's an election year. You may hear...some more spewing...that...type...of...uh....stuff...."
As eloquent as ever!
You can tell where he stands on giving us our money back, can't you?
With all due respect, what a scumbag.....
