While he is not perfect, that's an odd definition of 'disenfranchised' you got there...

We don't need unreliable dying RINOs, we needed Pat Toomey. This was as stupid as if we had renominated Jacob Javits in '80 over Al D'Amato.

Indeed. I get so tired of 'true believers' who do everything to undermine us actually getting things done.

Specter isn't a conservative, but he has been a loyal trooper when it has really counted for the party, and at the very least, he will keep Tommy Dashle off TV regardless of what happens in SD.
