Colorado primary returns for Senate and other races displayed at The Denver Post
PING!
Currently Coors is winning by a landslide. I hope the momentum in the primary will give a much needed bounce to Coors as he takes on Salazar. The media has been portraying the primary as a bloodbath that will aid Salazar. The news stories are most likely wishful thinking on the media than actual reporting.
Let's hope there are enough dumb swing voters who will pick Coors over Salazar just because they like beer. LOL!
Hopefully, his last name will help in Boulder and Ft. Collins.
Coors will get clobbered by Salazar. He has annoyed conservatives badly with nasty, personal, attack ads on a man who is well-known, well-liked, and known among conservatives to be an honorable man. Coors needs those votes to win. Colorado has a long history of not letting folks buy senate seats. And Coors cannot debate his way out of a paper bag.
Coors is a democrat attack ad dreamboat and Salazar is a strong candidate. It's not going to be pretty.
I have some primary results from Georgia, in case you're interested.
SENATE
Denise Majette-D 160,887 59%
Cliff Oxford-D 109,575 41%
House District 6
Tom Price-R 27,826 54%
Robert Lamutt-R 23,852 46%
House District 8
Lynn Westmoreland-R 34,213 55%
Dylan Glenn-R 27,453 45%
Here are Colorado primary results:
SENATE
Pete Coors-R 202,175 61%
Bob Schaffer-R 131,583 39%
HOUSE: 3rd. District
Greg Walcher-R 15,490 32%
Matt Smith-R 15,211 31%
Greg Rippy-R 7,925 16%
Dan Corsentino-R 5,573 12%
Matt Aljanich-R 4,381 9%
Ga GOP primary voters once again say no to a black conservative. And we wonder why 90% of African-Americans stick with the RATS. This doesn't happen in a vacuum.
"Coors will get clobbered by Salazar. He has annoyed conservatives badly with nasty, personal, attack ads on a man who is well-known, well-liked, and known among conservatives to be an honorable man. Coors needs those votes to win."
Those voters aren't stupid, they aren't gonna vote for Scumazar and they're gonna stay home and let him win.
It's not totally bad. Dylan Glenn made it into the runoff. His 45% of the vote is respectable, considering he was running against the state House Majority Leader, who was better-known and had a local base.
I really hope Robinson wins.
Last chance...
