PROPHECY ABOUT UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION (Proverbs 21:1, Romans 13:1-5, 1 Peter 2:13,14)
***SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE GIVEN BY GOD FOR A SPECIFIC REASON AND PURPOSE. MY MAIN GIFT IS THAT OF EVANGELISM. HOWEVER, WHILE I DO NOT CALL MYSELF A PROPHET, GOD SPEAKS THROUGH ME OFTEN TO SHARE HIS WORD WITH THOSE WHO WILL HEAR. I SPENT MUCH OF LAST TUESDAY NIGHT (3/2/04) IN PRAYER, AND WHILE I HAD NO PLAN TO SAY ANYTHING OF THAT TIME ALONE WITH GOD, THIS IS WHAT GOD CLEARLY SHOWED ME. I AM SIMPLY BEING OBEDIENT TODAY TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU. PLEASE PRAY OVER THESE WORDS AND FEEL FREE TO SHARE THEM WITH THOSE YOU KNOW.
A special word in regard to the 2004 United States Presidential race and what the future holds. Many people question whether a Christian should be involved in politics. The answer is YES. In fact, Christians MUST be involved in politics. God has called us to make a difference in this world we live in. Being part of the political process is one way we can make a positive AND GODLY impact on our local community, state, and nation. Public service, serving those we live with is a noble and honorable calling.
The Bible teaches us that it is God who allows men and women to rise to power. Nobody comes into power without God allowing it. That has always been a challenging truth for me to accept. We read in the Old Testament of wicked kings, we study history and see ungodly men who ruled nations. Just in our recent history we have the examples of men like Hitler, Stalin, and Hussein. Why God allowed evil men like these to rise to power is something only God Himself can answer. But the fact is, NO PERSON rises to power unless God allows them to.
In the Old Testament there were the political leaders, the kings, and the spiritual leaders, the priests. These were two very separate offices with two very separate roles to play. The king was the political leader of the people, analogous in our society to the President. The priest was the spiritual leader of the people, which would be the same as the pastor of a local church. God clearly established these as two separate offices. The governing of a nation and the shepherding of the spiritual lives of people are two separate and distinct roles.
Having said that, there are unique times when God DOES call on the political leader to also exercise spiritual leadership. Liveprayer was just a little over one year old when the 2000 U.S. Presidential election was held. God showed me early in 2000 that this was a critical election due to the declining spiritual state of our nation. We had serious spiritual issues that had to be addressed before God simply got fed up with our hardened hearts and unleashed His judgment on us. I shared this in several Devotionals leading up to the election in 2000 and we mobilized over 1/2 million people to pray for that election.
As you know, the 2000 election was unlike any other in our nation's history. During those 30 days that we had to wait to see who our next President was going to be, there was a battle royal going on in the heavenlies. It was exactly what the Bible speaks of in Ephesians 6:12. I believe in my heart that God allowed George W. Bush to become our 43rd President to not only be the political leader of the United States, but as a man that openly professed to being a follower of Jesus Christ, to be used by God to exercise spiritual leadership in key areas to turn our nation back to God.
I am sad to say today that President Bush has failed in that special role God called him to play in leading this nation back to the God of the Bible. FOR THAT REASON, HE WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED. There are 6 specific areas President Bush has failed in, and these are the reasons why he will not be re-elected as President of the United States of America this November.
1) Abortion. Every day, app. 4,000 innocent babies are slaughtered in this nation. For over 30 years now our Federal Government has been in the business of killing innocent babies. God allowed George W. Bush to be President to take the Federal Government out of the business of killing babies and put that issue back to each individual state. He gave President Bush a majority in both Houses as well as a favorable Supreme Court. He chose to do nothing about overturning Roe v. Wade.
2) Marriage. Changing God's definition of His Holy Institution is NOT a new issue. Sadly, it took men empowered by satan, bold enough to blatantly ignore the law to bring this issue to a head. It is now too late. A Constitutional amendment has a minimal chance of ever passing and is something that would take a decade to put into place. It is now too late to stop marriage from being redefined.
3) Gambling and Pornography. These are two multi-billion dollar industries that help to destroy the moral fabric of our nation. Instead of going after these destructive industries, President Bush chose to ignore them. A sin of omission is as great as any sin of commission.
4) Israel. Genesis 12:3 is still in effect today. In negotiating with the Palestinians, President Bush is attempting to give them land that God gave specifically to the children of Israel.
5) Pleasing man, not God. Sadly, President Bush became infatuated with the office of President and decided it was better to please man than God. His goal was to simply stay in office, rather than allow himself to be an instrument in God's hand to help bring our nation back to the God of the Bible.
6) No other gods. There is but ONE GOD. He is the GOD OF THE BIBLE. The "allah" of the Muslims is NOT the God of the Bible. You can't embrace the false gods of this world and not incur God's judgment.
I realize that many will say President Bush could do little to change the spiritual course of our nation. I say you are wrong. My Bible says that with God, ALL things are possible. I know in my heart had he been bold enough, courageous enough to aggressively fight these issues, God would have given him great wisdom, favor, and success. It was God who put George W. Bush in office, and it will be God who will take him out of office for failing to lead this nation back to the God of the Bible.
I love you and care about you so much. You will never know how difficult it has been for me to share these words with you today. Here is why. Under President Kerry, God's definition of marriage will no longer exist, legal steps will be taken to insure our nation will ALWAYS be in the business of murdering innocent babies, we will continue to see God taken out of every aspect of the daily life of this nation, and Christians will come under greater persecution than we ever thought possible. God is going to give the people exactly what they ask for and because of our gross wickedness, we will see more natural disasters, more attacks on U.S. soil by those who want to destroy us, and the nation will endure great economic hardships as God unleashes His judgment on our nation.
President Bush will no longer be President because he simply didn't have the guts to fulfill the calling God had on his life to not just be a political leader, but in this unique time in human history, help lead this nation back to the God of the Bible. In the coming months and years our nation will experience the wrath of God for our gross wickedness. The good news is that regardless of what happens, those who know Christ as their Savior are citizens of Heaven. We are only here for a short time my friend. Many of God's children have lived their life during a time of God's judgment and great persecution for their faith. This will be an opportunity for Christians to rise up and show the lost and hurting that their only hope is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Now more than ever, those men and women who God has called to be SPIRITUAL LEADERS in these last days must rise up and be counted. These will be people with pure hearts, not seeking to be rich and famous Christian stars, but merely servants of God who will lead by serving others. God needs those men and women He has called to rise up, regardless the personal costs, and lead His people to victory during these last days of human history.
God has richly blessed this nation. Instead of being grateful for those blessings we have turned our back on God, mocked Him, and chosen to live in rebellion to His Word. We are deserving of His wrath and judgment. May those who know Christ as their Savior find strength and hope in Him in the difficult days ahead.
FOLLOW-UP TO PRESIDENTIAL PROPHECY (Proverbs 1:23-33, Jeremiah 26:3, Amos 5:4-6, 2 Chronicles 36:16 )
PART ONE OF TWO ( Part Two will be Thursday. I will lay our a clear and concise plan of action ALL can participate in. Don't miss it!)
Presidential Prophecy follow-up. This is the first time in over 54 months of Liveprayer that I have felt the need to devote two entire Devotionals to follow-up one from the previous day. I can honestly say Monday was one of the most difficult days for me personally since Liveprayer started in August of 1999, and I felt the need to clarify several points from the Monday 3/8 Devotional. Dealing with the vast array of issues that I handle on a daily basis, many issues that the church will simply not talk about, I am used to lots of response, much of it highly emotional and critical. However, there was more response from Monday's Devotional than anything I have ever written. If you missed that Devotional, you can read it at: www.liveprayer.com/pp.htm .
First of all, I will NOT apologize for anything that I said Monday. I will NEVER apologize for telling you what God has told me to say no matter how many people may be upset with me. The fact is, I have to answer to God one day, not man, and He will hold me accountable for my faithfulness to the work He has given me to do. As I have shared with you often, one of the biggest problems we have in the church today are pastors who are afraid to lead. They are afraid to say what God had told them to say because it may upset their Board, or it may cause some people to leave the church, or even worse it may cause some people to withhold their financial support. To you pastors I remind you that in the end it is not your Board or those in your congregation you have to answer to, but it is God!
Anyone who reads what I write each day should know by now that I am not some nutcase starting a cult, that I don't espouse some false theology, but all that I share with you each day is tied directly to the Word of God. It was during several hours of prayer on the evening of Tuesday, March 2nd that God showed me what I shared with you in Monday's Devotional. I am very well aware of who my audience is. Of the little over 1.9 million subscribers, 2/3 are Christians, the 1/3 are not. Right at 80% are Republicans. I spent many agonizing days wrestling with God over sharing this word about the election with you.
I knew that there would be many people who simply would refuse to receive it. I knew many people would be very hostile towards me for saying such a thing. I knew that it would cause many people to stop reading the Daily Devotional. I also knew that it would cause many people to stop financially supporting Liveprayer. Knowing all of this, I had EVERY reason to simply shut up and write about something else on Monday. I had NOTHING to gain and much to lose by sharing that message. But God asked me who I was trying to please, man or Him? Who did I fear more, man or Him? Who was my faith and trust in, man or Him? Who was my provider, man or Him? Finally, the big question, DID I BELIEVE HIM? After answering those questions there was really no decision to make. You will be faced with these questions from time to time also.
Let me clear up a few things. The fact I stated President Bush would not be re-elected was NOT a personal attack on him. As a matter of fact, what I wrote Monday was not even a political commentary, it was a SPIRITUAL one. I am very close with many people who know President Bush and I know first hand he has accepted Christ. I am also aware that he has done many wonderful things during his time in office. I am also very well aware of the difficulty in getting things accomplished in Washington, especially on the 6 issues I outlined.
But here are the facts. It was GOD that put President Bush into office. He not only lost the popular vote, but it took 30 days of heavy spiritual warfare before he was finally declared President. GOD DID THAT. He came into office with the hand of God all over him. Even though he is a political leader, because of the serious spiritual problems we had facing our nation after 8 years of President Clinton, God called him to play a role in helping to make a difference in several key spiritual issues. When you have the favor of God on you, you can accomplish ANYTHING, regardless how impossible it may seem.
9/11 was a horrific and tragic experience for our nation and was the most unique time in our nation's history. It was a time when President Bush had the nation's attention and could have asked the people to turn back to God and the Biblical foundation our country was founded on. This was a special opportunity God gave a political leader to make a real difference in the spiritual life of our nation and President Bush failed. He either was not spiritually mature enough to realize the power of God was upon him, or he chose to not tackle the very real, pressing spiritual issues our nation is dealing with.
Because I shared what God showed me, I have been accused of working for John Kerry, of causing people not to vote, and for being the reason if President Bush is not re-elected. First, if you read ALL that I wrote Monday, I clearly outlined the spiritual abyss this nation will fall into under a Kerry administration. *As I do every year, I will mobilize a massive prayer effort that will be well over 2 million people this year to pray for men and women after God's heart to be elected and encourage people to get out and vote for those people who will help to bring our nation back to Biblical principles. Lastly, it will be God who determines who the next President is, not Bill Keller.
I am also very well aware that Pat Robertson has predicted President Bush will win in a landslide. The fact is, on November 9th, either Pat Robertson or Bill Keller will be wrong. I have clearly stated in the past that the penalty for a false prophet is to be stoned to death. I support that standard and am willing, I wonder if Pat is. Like most who say they hear from God and have been wrong, Pat has always found an excuse why he was wrong and just keeps on going. The fact is, God is NEVER WRONG. One of us is a false prophet! I will make NO EXCUSES.
I fully realize that I have put 12 years of my life in full time service to the Lord, the last 54 months working 7 days a week to build a vehicle that is taking the truth of God's Word to millions worldwide every day, on the line. I have chosen to not go the traditional ministry route of preaching to the choir where it is safe. I have rejected selling out the Gospel for the millions it could bring in each year. I only have my faith in God and the credibility I have worked so hard over the years to establish with those who are part of Liveprayer. If I am wrong, I should be considered a false prophet. There are sentinel moments in our lives, and sentinel moments in our work for the Lord. This is one of those for me. Liveprayer is HIS ministry not mine and this is a time for me to test my own faith in the Lord.
I love you and care about you so much. Some have accused me of giving up. Nothing could be further from the truth. I would NEVER give up because our hope is not in a man, but in God . I measure victories in souls, NOT votes. God's work will continue until the end of this age regardless who the President of the United States is, or if there even is a United States. The fact is, on November 9th God will give the people what they want. I have shared in the past that this is no longer a Christian nation. We are no different than the children of Israel. We started out honoring God, we slowly moved away from God, rejecting Him for the gods of the world. God has given us many opportunities to turn back to Him but we have refused and are owed His judgment.
FOLLOW-UP TO PRESIDENTIAL PROPHECY (Jonah chapter 3, 2 Chronicles 7:14) PART TWO OF TWO
***THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE I HAVE EVER WRITTEN ABOUT OUR NATION IN THE 54+ MONTHS OF LIVEPRAYER. PLEASE SEND IT TO EVERYONE THAT YOU KNOW. IT NEEDS TO BE SENT TO EVERY PASTOR, CHRISTIAN LEADER, AND ELECTED OFFICIAL. IT NEEDS TO BE POSTED IN EVERY CHATROOM AND MESSAGE BOARD ON THE INTERNET. THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS UPON OUR NATION AND WE MAY ONLY HAVE ONE LAST CHANCE TO STOP IT. THERE IS NO MORE TIME TO BE PASSIVE IF WE REALLY CARE ABOUT OUR NATION.
What YOU can do to stop God's judgment on the United States. I have been in a "new place" in my relationship with God over the past 10 days. Something has been stirring in my soul well above my normal day to day relationship with the Lord. Even though I have been in full time ministry for over 12 years, these past 54 months have taken me to a deeper and more intimate place with the Lord than I ever imagined. I have had to develop a special relationship with Him for the inspiration on a daily basis to write a Daily Devotional that will encourage the saints, share Christ with the lost, give hope to the hurting, challenge people in their daily lives, while trying to deal with the very real issues we face in our world today. It has only been my absolute faith in God's promises to provide for the ongoing needs of this ministry, when in the natural we should have never lasted one year let alone over 54 months now. It is because of that deep, abiding, daily relationship with the Lord that I know something has been "different" these past 10 days.
I have shared my personal testimony with hundreds of thousands in person, and millions more through radio, television, and print articles. I have always identified with Jonah as he ran from God's calling on his life. Jonah decided he didn't want to do what God was calling him to do so he ran. Likewise, God had a calling on my life but I also made a decision to run from that calling. God could have easily found someone else to do the job He was asking Jonah to do, but for reasons only God knows, He gave Jonah one more chance to be obedient and sent a big fish after him. Likewise, God could have easily found someone else to do the job He was calling me to do, but for reasons only God knows, He gave me one more chance to be obedient and sent the Federal Government after me. (You can read my testimony at www.liveprayer.com/bdy_testimony.html )
For those who have been part of Liveprayer for a while, one thing you have found out about me is that I don't ever give up. I am not a quitter. I have no doubt that is one reason God gave me the vision for Liveprayer, since nobody in their right mind would have even attempted to do this. However, I learned a valuable lesson from the old 19th century revival preacher Charles Finney. Finney said, "we need to work like it all depends on us, and then pray like it all depends on God." AMEN. *I am not giving up our nation to God's judgment without doing everything I possibly can to stop it!
Over the past 54+ months I have done many Devotionals on the spiritual state of this nation. I have dealt with the various pressing spiritual issues that face us like abortion, marriage, family, sexual sin, and the false gods and religions. I have laid out over and over the responsibility of the church, Christian leaders, government, and each of us as individuals in dealing with these spiritual issues. I am very sad to say that the spiritual state of our nation is worse today than when I started Liveprayer. But that only motivates me each day to get up and work harder!
I am convinced that because of the fact we have willingly, deliberately, and blatantly turned our back on God, our nation is OWED His judgment. IF God did not spare the children of Israel, His chosen people, for their gross idolatry, for having other gods, for turning from Him, then why should we expect His mercy? It has only been His mercy that has kept God from unleashing His judgment on our nation. We cannot be so blind, be so foolish to think that God's judgment for our gross wickedness as a nation will not be felt at any moment.
The past night I have been up, back in the Book of Jonah in chapter 3. I have been wrestling with God over the fact that if He had mercy on Nineveh, why can't He have mercy on the United States. The Holy Spirit showed me this. God spared the city of Nineveh from His wrath because the people humbled themselves in sackcloth and ashes, repented of their sins, and turned their hearts back to Him. THE KING NOT ONLY PUT ON SACKCLOTH, BUT ISSUED A PROCLAMATION CALLING THE PEOPLE TO PRAYER AND FASTING AND TO TURN FROM THEIR EVIL WAYS BACK TO GOD!
***I am calling for a 40-day period of prayer and fasting for the United States from May 1-June 9. I am calling on every man, woman, and child in this nation to get on their knees and beg God's forgiveness for our nation turning its back on Him. I will be calling on President Bush to make a proclamation that there will be a National period of prayer and fasting for the spiritual state of our nation from May 1-June 9. This will be an opportunity for him to lead our nation back to the God of the Bible. Jonah could not force the King to put on sackcloth and issue his proclamation, the King had to be convicted by God to do it. I cannot force President Bush to put on sackcloth and issue this proclamation, but I pray he comes under the conviction of the Holy Spirit to do so.
I love you and care about you so much. I am asking you to start praying immediately for this period of prayer and fasting. I will be talking more about this in the coming days, but for right now it is critical that you get this message to every church, every ministry, and every elected official that you can. You need to circulate this message in every chatroom, on every message board, and to any forward list that you know of on the Internet. I will be preparing a Press Release in the next day or so that I will email you so that you can get it to every TV station and program, radio station and program, and newspaper.
Please pray that I am able to get this information to President Bush and that he will have an open heart to take a real stand for Christ. I understand that he is a President and not a King, but it was GOD who allowed him to rise to that office to lead this nation. The fact is, those who oppose him will oppose him regardless of what he does. If he really loves this nation, then he must realize we cannot survive without God's blessings. Pray that like the King in Nineveh, President Bush will see that the judgment of God is upon our wicked nation and this is our ONLY chance to stay His judgment.
*Those who know Christ as Savior CAN do something. We have this one chance as a nation to beg God's forgiveness and possibly stay his hand of judgment on the United States. Let the people of Nineveh be our example. They were serious about saving their city, I pray we are as serious about saving our nation. May we be found faithful and save our nation from God's judgment.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 In his love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ, Bill Keller
WHATEVER YOU SAY!!!
Come over here and tell me if you believe any of what is written here.
This is not a "prophesy" regardless of how much you prayed about it. It's an argument for no reelecting Bush. God does not speak through logical arguments intended to intellectually persuade.
Well, I guess I don't have to vote on election day, then....
You state that only God can allow a man to rise to Power. AND you also state that you believe in your Bible. Now, I may be no 'prophet' or theologian, but I seem to recall where SATAN offered Jesus Christ POWER over all the nations on Earth. Satan seemed to imply that power over nations was something he could offer, and also implies that God has little or no interest in who the rulers of Men might be. "Render unto Ceasar", and so forth. With these notions in mind, it becomes difficult to reconcile your 'prophecy' with spiritual reality. However, another thing becomes clear. There have been other men who have declared themselves 'prophets'. Mohammed. Joseph Smith. That fellow from the Branch Davidians, I forgot his name. Jim Jones. The 'Heaven's Gate' UFO Nutjob...literally.
Usama Bin Laden. He too believes he is God's Prophet.
All self-declared prophets, and all equally wrong. Now, I am not here to start a holy war. No man is perfect, and I think we all know that, like any man, George W Bush has made his share of gaffes. However, he is still far better than the alternative. Americans vote with their wallets, not their bibles. The economy is recovering nicely. Interest rates are down, and a weakened dollar has us poised to have a booming year for tourism and trade. By the time November rolls around, I believe we will see Bush's numbers grudgingly reported by the Media as a fifteen or more point lead.
When that happens, if it happens, will you think of yourself as the next Moses...or the next Mohammed?
I am also very well aware that Pat Robertson has predicted President Bush will win in a landslide. The fact is, on November 9th, either Pat Robertson or Bill Keller will be wrong.[snip]
The fact is, on November 9th God will give the people what they want.
Why do we need to wait an extra week? The general election will be on November 2, 2004.
