PING!

Please remove me from your ping list.
I consider it a capitol offense to add someone to a ping list without their expressing a desire to be added.
The beatings will commence at sunrise.
Please report to your nearest torture chamber BEFORE sunrise.
That is all.

Sen. Forgy has already announced. On the 'Rat side, Fayette County District Attorney Margaret Kannensohn has announced. This could be the first Kentucky Congressional race between two women. Good from a historical point of view, though I predict a Forgy victory.

Not the first time actually, Rep. Ann Northup defeated State Sen. Eleanor Jordan in the 2000 race for the 3rd district seat. I think the most formidable Democrat who might have run for the seat is state treasurer Jonathan Miller but he's already turned it down, Atty Gen and Dem gov nominee Ben Chandler might run but I doubt it, he would probably be the favorite, anybody else and I think the GOP holds the seat.

I stand corrected. But I would be surprised if Chandler ran for Fletcher's House seat. He lost it by 56% to 44% in the gubenatorial race, larger than the margin statewide.
