Zimmer has publicly apologized for charging Pedro, ...witnesses agree what happened in the bullpen, and the pitchers threw the first punch (and then stomped the grounds-crew guy with their cleats), ...that the Yankee rightfielder jumped the wall to take part in the beating of said grounds crew guy, apparently just for the fun of it.

You give me a second-hand account from unnamed witnesses.

"...witnesses agree what happened in the bullpen".

That may be good enough for you but it isn't good enough for me.
