I'm looking to see what works for the people on this forum with the same type of situation. I listened to the Doc, just would like to optomize results if possible by learning from other folks.

How much caffeine is in your diet? I avoided the pill by switching to decaf and caffeine free sodas. I miss the morning kick from my coffee and the taste takes some getting used to, but its better than a script IMO.

just would like to optomize results if possible by learning from other folks. It's the carbs that are killing you and making you fat. You drink beer IIRC and the sugar (maltose or maltodextrin [sp]) is off the scale literally on the Glycemic Index. The sugars and the starches are our slow poisons, effecting you one way, others with other problems.
