As this is the 25th Edition of Taglinus FreeRepublicus, I’d like to say, from the bottom of my heart,
Thank You Jim Robinson and your family for FreeRepublic! This is a truly remarkable site --
a rose admired by patriots for its elegance and feared by reprobates for its thorns.

Thank you also ‘behind-the-scenes’ Freepers such as the moderators and the Freepathoners
whose dedicated work helps Jim keep FreeRepublic running 24/7.

Thank you many Freepers who’ve alerted me to taglines and sent me kind comments.

And thank you visualops for your beautiful banner above. Your offer to create it reflects why so
many of us consider FreeRepublic a family.

Finally, a note of clarification about Taglinus FreeRepublicus.....

Taglinus FreeRepublicus is merely a collection of taglines.   It is not a contest.
Generally, I use every tagline I run across or am alerted to except those that have been
listed previously in TFR or are in a foreign language without an English translation.

If you wonder why a particular tagline is not listed, 99% of the time it’s because I didn’t see
it. Pings and Freepmails alerting me to taglines (especially ones that don’t appear often) are
appreciated.

With this 25th Edition, there are now 3142 taglines on the Master List, which this winter
(perhaps at the end of the year) I’ll post in its entirety.

To all members of the Armed Forces, THANK YOU for your service! We Love You!
