Sadly there are some here too dim to realize it but the truth will soon becone clear the libs are using this to achieve two goals
1. To make it utterly impossible for anyone to discuss race without adhering totally to the liberal line, or ricsk having their careers and reputations ruined.
And
2. that Limbaugh is a racist, always has been and so is anyone who listens to him.

Warren Moon was slimed in the press while he wtas a Minnesota Viking for wife-beating. I used to be sympathetic about it.

Its not just Rush; we're all eevil, stinkin' and filthy nazis and racists!

Someone should have asked Warren to give an example.

Talk about a marginal quarterback! Warren Moon is Mr. Mediocre himself!

Did you know Rush said he had planned and rehearsed his comments he made about McNabb hours before he went on the air? He already had his agenda in place. IMO that is not sports broadcasting, that's editorializing, and he stuck his foot in his fat mouth when he should have been talking football.
To: Snuffington
Guess that means Moon was always a wife-beater, but he just got caught that one time...
What a ridiculous statement... Rush is listened to by 20 million people a day... he "always" says racist things and just now got "caught"?

People who say Rush made racist comments are either stupid or are saying it intentionally for their own benefit.
His comment had a racial component but nothing he said was racist.
These people will believe what they want and, at some point, you have to move on and forget about it.
To: RedBloodedAmerican
I agree it was dumb, but isn't the whole point of him being there to editorialize?

No, I disagree with both of your 'Rat goals.
Too much of a backlash already under steam.
Warren Moon. Great arm. POS off the field. Great testimony.

Rush is a "Racist" for suggesting that something akin to affirmative action is the only reason a black quarterback with the worst passing average in the NFL, is still in the NFL?
See, here's the downside to affirmative action: people will always suggest that this is how you got (and stay) where you are.

And I will add, to be fair, that he isn't the only one to have done something stupid in the booth. It's that he's a bigger target and conservatives are under fire right now. But he went too far with it. He should have saved that for his personal show.
To: Libs R Evil
Greta should have asked Moon if he's still beating his wife...
To: Sloth
I thought it was to announce the game, not give personal opinions. But heck, nowadays they all do it, especially Couric, Rather, Jennings....where are the ones who just report?
To: Libs R Evil
I heard this, at least as long as I could stand to. I finally started screaming that I can't take anymore today and switched to home shopping network. This is so slimey, and so unfair. He didn't say anything that was racist.
Where was the media frenzy and the rats when Cruz Bustataxes said the N Word? Barely made the news!!!!

IMO that is not sports broadcasting, that's editorializing,That's his job on the show to editorialize, DUH!
and he stuck his foot in his fat mouth when he should have been talking football.
"fat mouth" huh? that's what they'd call on DU I bet. I don't know why you're wasting your time here, when you'd clearly fit in better there with the PC nazis.
To: Snuffington
Warren Moon could not possibly have beaten his wife -- he was lying flat on his back for years after Buffalo came back from something like a 35-3 deficit to beat Houston in the AFC Championship Game in the early 1990s.

$1.00 says NASCAR doesn't invite him to broadcast! They are getting the shakedown, too.
Now, if Rush had said something along the lines of affirmative action making its way into the NFL with the Black Coach program, I think that would have been better. But he flat out attacked McNabb, even tho I think he meant to direct it at the liberal media.
