Al Gore, urging us to vote no on recall and yes on Bustamante...he reminded us that Bustamante is under the "B". He sounded very feminine and warned us of the extreme right wing trying to grab hold of the governoship.

Has it come to this? Gore really has to tell voters what letter Bustamante starts with?

Today's LA Times reports MORE women who NOW complain about being groped by the Governator. These two caught my eye (so to speak):
Jan Prinzmetal, 50, who said Schwarzenegger reached under her skirt and grabbed her bare buttocks outside a Venice gym in the mid-1980s.

Elizabeth Rothner, 45, who said Schwarzenegger lifted her sweatshirt at a popular Santa Monica bar in 1979, exposing her bare breasts before a crowd.

Thank goodness Bustamante doesn't start with "C" or "S" - poor Albert would have lisped himself thilly trying to explain it to the dimwitted Dem voters of California.

Excellent preparations for your upcoming trip to Iowa, I must say. You just never know.

And so what does this tell us? Perhaps it tells us Arnie has a 'good eye', and can easily detect those who choose to go without undergarments. While I certainly don't approve of males behaving in this manner, I have to question all of this coming up at the eleventh hour. It smell like politics to me. How do we know just how credible all these allegations are? We don't. And time is running out to check out each and every charge.

I've stayed out of the fray on this election, because I can't vote. My philosophy leans more towards McClintock, than to Arnold. But I have to say, "puke politics" Gray Davis style is even worse than the stuff we see in Iowa, which has become BAD in recent years.

I would expect we should see one more stink bomb dropped, late tonite or sometime before noon tomorrow when it will be virtually impossible to respond via mail.

All these 11th hour allegations against Schwarzenegger remind me of something, let's see, oh yes - the 2000 presidential election. Gee, is it possible this is being orchestrated by McAwful, et al. (modus operandi, and all that)?

Dear Abby,

I recently read your column advising grandparents on "tough love" for grandparents to give misbehaving grandchildren, whose own parents let them run wild. I have followed your advice; I enclosed a picture demonstrating my technique when my grandson just won't behave while I'm babysitting for his parents.

They have told me not to spank him, so I just take him for a ride, and he usually clams down afterward.

Sign me,

Tough Love Grandma

I received the Tough Love Grandma thingy in yesterdays emails. So funny. I'm Tough, but not that Tough.

On another matter,, it's my guess this "Love Child" story may be the last major 'dump' on Arnold. Of course I could be wrong. But unless they can come up with an incest charge, I can't imagine where they'd go from here.

I would have said the Dems next will try to throw a pedophilia charge against Arnold, but maybe not - wouldn't want to antagonize their base, after all.

How many Christians does it take to change a light bulb?

Charismatic: Only one. Hands already in the air.

Pentecostal: Ten. One to change the bulb, and nine to pray against the
spirit of darkness.

Presbyterian: None. Lights will go on and off at predestined times.

Catholic: None. Candles only.

Baptist: At least 15. One to change the light bulb, and three committees to
approve the change and decide who brings the potato salad.

Episcopalian: Three. One to call the electrician, one to mix the drinks, and
one to talk about how much better the old bulb was.

Mormon: Five. One man to change the bulb and four wives to tell him how to
do it.

Methodist: Undetermined. Whether your light is bright, dull, or completely
burned out, you are loved. You can be a light bulb, turnip bulb, or tulip
bulb. Church-wide lighting service is planned for Sunday. Bring the bulb of
your choice and a covered dish.

Nazarene: Six. One woman to replace the bulb while five men review church
lighting policy.

Lutheran: None. Lutherans don't believe in change.

Church of Christ: They do not use light bulbs because there is no evidence
of their use in the New Testament.

Unitarian: We choose not to make a statement either in favor of or against
the need for a light bulb. However, if in your own journey you have found
that light bulbs work for you, that is fine. You are invited to write a poem
or compose a modern dance about your bulb for next Sunday's service, during
which we will explore a number of light bulb traditions, including
incandescent, fluorescent, three-way, long-life, and tinted, all of which
are equally valid paths to luminescence.

Amish: What's a light bulb

Rest well up there.

OMG, , , A Des Moines Register columnist claims Tom Arnold may run for governor:

Borsellino: Iowa's own Arnold for governor? Smart, funny, recovering alcoholic Tom Arnold has all the credentials
By ROB BORSELLINO
Register Columnist
10/06/2003
Tom Arnold took a break from helping the Schwarzenegger campaign and came to Iowa over the weekend. He did his show from here the other night and went to the Hawkeye game on Saturday. On Sunday he was hanging with his pals at Kin Folks BBQ in Altoona. I had a quick lunch with the guy - a Democrat - and came away convinced he'll run for governor.

And I was convinced he could win. He's got it all - star power and style, he can connect with Iowans, he's smart and funny, he's in recovery from drugs and alcohol, he's written a book and he's shady enough to be interesting. He's even got the rap down: "Show business is about being liked, and politics is about helping people. I would love to move back here and help this state."(snip)

I would LOVE for governments to STOP "helping" me.
