GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL OUT IN THIS WONDERFUL NEIGHBOTHOOD OF ATRW FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!

Did a 4 1/2 mile walk today, going for 6 miles next week IF my joints stop hurting, old age I guess. Its so peaceful walking the sands on the beach, waters edge, the waves laping up on the sand, its just that sound that keeps you going.

Huffington, sheesh, wonder why they let this blabber mouth on the debate. I can see why hubby left, this ole gal can out talk a radio. She is in this for one thing, to sell her articles and possibly a book or two. This fellow won't be buying anything she writes for sure.

I heard the other day the reporter from MSNBC in Iraq say the american public is not getting the true picture of what is going on for the good in Iraq. He said it just a bunch of reporters working to get some kind of award for reporting and the worse it is the better it is for them.

I got a solution to the UN and its members who are against us. CUT THE MONEY GOING TO THEIR COUNTRIES OFF! Time for cutting Arafat off as well. I heard the other day that it is suspected that he has stolen over 900 million dollars over the years. 900 MILLION! That would BUY a country. Ummm, maybe he should buy some toothpaste, looks like he could use some. A new dish towel as well.

The lady from Iraq who was on the council and was shot has died. I would like to ask all for special prayers for her family and that my God give them comfort. This is going to be a hard fight my friends but we are going to win, despite all the democracts are doing. I cringe to think of a democract as president of this country, we would have radicals on ever block in OUR nation so this country had better think twice and fast.

OK, coffee time AND a slimfast shake. I am serious about dropping some of this weight (one more time). I kinda like being around you know. Toby

I scanned thru the latest Talbot's catalog this morning, looking for a dress with a waistline, sleeves and an open neck. I didn't find it. Why do they always show the models in the size 6 version of these outfits?

I agree. My late Dad was a PIO in Nam in '69 and tangled with Dan Rather over there about his censorship of the news. Dad accused him of being a Communist and Rather's response was, "You know, Jack, you may be right. Maybe I am a Communist, but as long as I am in charge here in Saigon, the American people are only going to see this war the way I want them to see it!"

Today, with Fox News and the INTERNET, bastards like Rather cannot get away with it anymore. The media will change when they realize they have been busted.

Get the stock number out of the catalog and call a friendly Talbots,, if they aren't busy maybe they'll do a computer scan for you to see if it's been delivered anywhere.

I have found them to be really helpful in searches fot stuff they don't have in their stores.

G'mornin', Ladies. While we last conversed Sunday night, my Freepin' glee at getting the lights back was interrupted by a boom outside and that horrid, dying sound of the computer's hard drive stopping. All dark again. I managed to crawl out of my desk and find a flashlight, no harm done, but my neighbor smashed her face against a rail looking for one. She's okay, but shook up and real, real impatient with the outage for the rest of the time.

So Pepco gave us two hours of Edison and took it back. Most cruel. As of last night, all had power in our area except ten houses on my block. The Lord was kind, and a lone crew found its way to us around 8pm last night. We celebrated with pizza and a movie. If winning the last-to-get-power lotto is the worst we have for now, I'll take it, even if it meant 5 am back breaking bailing water from the garage during the rainstorm the other night. We're gonna buy a marine battery to run the sump pump.

Now I have so much work -- missed a crucial week for my book launch. Gonna crunch out letters and emails today.

I have a mens lunching to go to at noon today, just a bunch of us men from my church get together for a little fellowship once a month. I think all the churches should offer such, you get to know each other better.

The other night I awoke and one of the late night re-runs was airing on FOX NEWS .... H & C, I believe. They had on a man who has written a book called I Was Wrong. I have looked on Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com and can't find it so apparently it's not out yet, though I'm positive they held up a copy of it .... promotional copy perhaps?

There was a thread about this man's story on FR way back in March .....

On Sunday the Washington (com)Post ran an article on W.H. Taft's sleep disorder, taken from an an article in the medical journal, Chest. The (com)Post reporter did his homework and called me for some comment. He put in a quotation and a reference to my book. Every little bit helps.
