Kitty Caption of the Week XXI - New and Improved DemoCAT Voting Booth (Humor/Meow Alerts)

It looks like the California recall election for October 7th is on. Four weeks after that is the typical November 4th municipal elections, and some of those races may result in run-offs. While democrats have been fuming over the last three years about antiquated voting machines, no one has bothered to mention the stations (booths) in which said voting takes place --- until now.
This picture courtesy of Allegra from the Houston chapter. One of her cats (I think Finbar) is trying out the new and improved demoCAT voting booth. Looks like plenty of room, lots of privacy, and easy to enter/exit. We think this one works.

Kitty Caption is a weekly feature on FR. Threads are usually found in the "General Interest" section. When the Viking Kitties aren't watching, sometimes they end up in "News/Activism". Usually they appear on Monday, but this week serves as an example that sometimes it is late. Hey, "POOP HAPPENS". If you want on/off the kitty ping list (97 members) or have a picture you want featured, send me Freep-mail.

Grocery bags are the best things going! My Phoebe is entertained for hours with just one bag, not to mention the fun Tomas has jumping on the bag while she's in it.

As ususal C-U-T-E!!! I love this forum. Thank you for my weekly smile.
Scary story, happy ending: My daughter is going to a university back East, so I get to babysit Mickey, who happens to look exactly like the grey tabby drinking from the shower posted a couple weeks ago.
The other day I noticed a mouse had found the bird seed stored in the shed. Well last evening I was cleaning the shed and Mickey, being the helpful little guy he is was in there with me. When I finished, I thought he left with me, so I closed and latched the door. When he didn't wake me up this morning (see I told you he was helpful) I got to thinking. When I opened the back door I heard him crying. I had locked him in the shed all night where the only thing to eat was the poisin pellets I'd put down for that mouse, and of course the mouse hisself. I've been watching him all day, and I don't know if he got the mouse, but I'm fairly certain he's not poisoned. No thanks to me.

The only picture I have ever seen more funny is serpent head (Carville) with the wastebasket on his head.

Oh no! Glad everything turned out okay. We always try to remember to do a cat-check before we leave the house. We've locked her in the closet, closed her in drawers, shut the bedroom door to keep her out while we're away - not knowing that she had slunk back in when we looked away for a sec! They are quick and sneaky!
