Sugar/starch free diet. I don't know all the details but if it's white, you can't eat it. Also, no corn or carrots. Anything that turns to sugar is out.
My friends went on it after he had open heart surgery and learned he was border-line diabetic. He can eat any amount of what he can eat. Their two young kids eat the same foods and get their kid stuff when they eat out.
His cholesterol went down. He's lost 30 lbs. in 8 months. They all feel better.
I'll let you know more when I get the book.

I would love to hear more about that too! My uncle, who I care for, also had open heart surgery and is diabetic. He is controlled with a medication he takes each day, and we watch his blood sugar. So far, so good, but more information would be helpful. Thanks! :)
