I would love to hear more about that too! My uncle, who I care for, also had open heart surgery and is diabetic. He is controlled with a medication he takes each day, and we watch his blood sugar. So far, so good, but more information would be helpful. Thanks! :)

The one with the heart/diabetic threw out all white flour, cornmeal, etc. Uses whole wheat everything and brown rice and pasta. Uses Splenda sugar substitute.
