In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
fastidious \fass-TIH-dee-uss\ adjective
1. having high and often unpredictable standards
2. showing a meticulous or demanding attitude *
* Indicates the sense illustrated in the example sentence.
Example sentence: The celebrated imperial Easter eggs designed by goldsmith Peter Carl Faberge are regarded as the ultimate in fastidious workmanship.
Did you know?
There's nothing offensive about fastidious workmanship, and yet the word "fastidious" traces to the Latin noun "fastidium," meaning "disgust." "Fastidium" itself is most likely a combination of the Latin words "fastus," meaning "arrogance," and "taedium," meaning "irksomeness." ("Taedium" also gave us our "tedium.") In keeping with its Latin roots, "fastidious" once meant "haughty" or "scornful" or "disgusting" or "disagreeable," although those uses are now archaic or obsolete. The word then came to be applied to someone who was overly difficult to please or squeamish, and later, to work which reflected a demanding or precise attitude.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

Me, too. Everyone else is getting so much more attention than she is. She can't take it much longer. Her bra will be in the ring soon.

Here is how I see this shaking out. Dean and Clark will split the delegates with no one having a majority. So first the first time in over 30 years a convention will happen where the candidate is nominated there. With no majority, the Dean and Clark people throw their support to Hillary and she becomes the nominee.

Sure... much easier to just turn it upside down over the toilet... then have a moment of prayer while giving the fish a "burial at sea." ;)

Yes. IF she gets in.
Clark is there to clear out the serious candidates (except Deaniac.)
IF over the next 8 weeks or so, Dubya looks vulnerable, She will jump in, Clainming Dean cant win, but she can. (She takes Deans Base, Clark secures the middle.)
OR...
Think Dean goes to the end, brokered convention stolen Nomination, though I have not had the time to ferret out if the mechanics of that are possible.
IF Clark Gets in, Hillary wants to run.

i think vast must have a boob fixation. Yeah, well slippy is trying her best to dissuade it with talks of hillary's bra being thrown somewhere. Drastic counter-measures are needed.

There, that's better
