What a cute kitten!
Just want to hug him.

Who saw the tiger on Fox & Friends this morning? I just wanted to scratch its ears. My husband informed me that it would probably take my hand off, but it was so beautiful!
Then I looked over at my cat, sprawled across my bed, with all four paws up in the air, and asked him what happened to his catly pride? He "mrped" at me and started chewing on his own tail. That's my boy.

I found Motley sleeping on my Treason over the weekend. Smart kitty.

Hey! how'd you get them to do that. Beanie (aged 12) would never let Mickey (aged 2) near her like that, let alone look like she enjoys him. She has put up with a lot of love over the years, but absolutely draws the line at "that other cat" He keeps trying though, I'm not quite sure he realizes he was fixed as a kitten...

You really shouldn't post pictures like this, makes me want to get another one. I have to keep reminding myself, like babies, kittens eventually becone
teenagers. Yeah, that'll get me over it.
very, very cute!

Is it true that most orange cats are a little psychotic?
Not really psychotic in my experience, just a little more active and full of the dickens than the average cat. Some vets jokingly call it the "feared and dreaded orange gene."
This little guy (Finbar) showed up as a five-month old stray on my doorstep three and a half years ago. He's full of mischief, but he also has a very sweet dispostion and purrs if you so much as look at him. He makes me laugh with his antics and he's completely spoiled rotten. I wouldn't trade him for anything. :)

Okay, cat people, how do you stop them from ruining furniture? Ours has put deep scratch marks into tables and leather couches(yes he's declawed but not in back) when he was spooked or just got a wild hair and made a quick departure. Also, the peeing outside the box thing. This cat would've gone back to the shelter the first time it happened(we got him when he was about 8 weeks old)if not for me pleading his case and trying other things.

"That is an ADORABLE kitty! Is that yours?" Only temprorarily. Actually Budge has him right now (he lives next door). There is a wild mama cat in the neighborhood that is alwasy having kittens and something always happens to them. We managed to save 2 out of 3 of these and are looking for homes for them.

It sounds like the furniture clawing is more of an impulsive thing and not something he does to be annoying? I use a water-squirter to teach mine not to claw the furniture.
Litter box problems can be more complex, but your vet should be able to offer some suggestions. My calico used a large palm plant for a potty when she was a kitten and when I finally caught her in the act, I squirted her, spoke sharply and put her on her litter box. Never had a problem after that.

To me, there is little on this earth that is more appealing or charming than a kitten.

Dear Ask Kittie:
Ours has put deep scratch marks into tables and leather couches(yes he's declawed but not in back) when he was spooked or just got a wild hair and made a quick departure.
Weekly nail trims keep 'em flat so that they can't penetrate wood. Works for us!
Also, the peeing outside the box thing.
That's there way of saying "I don't want to share the box". We've got a boy that does that but since the box is in the garage, no problem, it just soaks the newspaper. If your cat box is on a floor, one quick dip of his/her nose in their own pee and they "get it".
The foregoing answers have been provided by "Dear Ask Kittie", and are meant to be suggestive only. "Dear Ask Kittie" does not guarantee success.
