Oh, joy! One evening last week a neighbor's two rotties got loose and terrorized everyone taking an after dinner walk. That went on for nearly an hour until the neighbor finished dinner, noticed the dogs were missing and came to fetch them home.

It appears they have gone home, I noticed that someone from a cross the street has come home - when I first saw them I knew no one was home - and I dared not goo out and try to send them home because my 2 probably would have gone through the screens!!!

Happy FR anniversary, xs! There are a lot of black vultures up here, but they do more catching and killing of lizards and small snakes and picking up dead fish than roadkill scavenging. I guess they're more enterprising than other vultures. They also like to sit on chimneys, and deck and balcony rails, which drives my dogs nuts. They run barking after them, and even jump up in the air when the vultures take off, as if they could catch them. I tried to get a picture of them doing that a couple of days ago, but I wasn't fast enough.

Indeed-It had some joggers running flat out, let me tell you. They didn't try to bite, but their owner got some harsh words from his neighbors over it, and rightly so. I hope he fixed his front gate so it doesn't happen again.

It must freak the dogs out when they stand around with their wings wide open. It always looks like they're trying to scare each other.
