That's good of you, but your ex probably had more reedeming qualities than this woman-even her kids dislike her. They never visit her, and she has never seen any of her three grandchildren.

Concur!
The pines grow so fast here that (if the gutters aren't cleaned twice a year) by the next spring you have little bitty 4" trees growing in the downspouts.
(Don't ask me how I found that out....)
Meek doesn't have to worry about that: only about picking up ten billion stringy mesquite beans.

No mesquite here, but the reason I have a steep roof and no gutters is teeny little oak and cedar seedlings that popped up in my next door neighbor's gutters last spring. He was cleaning them over the weekend though...

Actually, it's more like she gets buzzed more often than anybody else.....
(Whyisa prefers the silent (vibrating) mode of her cell phone pager .....and just has to remember to keep stuffin' batteries in her slot.)
Now, being the kind gentleman that I am, I won't reveal where she clips the pager; but I will say that she can't read the number without leaving the room for a few minutes.

I am soliciting your advice on refrigerators. That is on our agenda today. Kenmore or Frigidaire? Or any other favorites? Ones to avoid? Our GE has been great but they aren't on sale.

I haven't seen many flying crane photo's -
Built the model back in the 60's ... But I didn't know they had made the original by simply cutting off the fusalage of the Big Green helicopter and putting a winch and back window in instead.

(Don't ask me how I found that out....) My husband installed gutters and downspouts for nearly 25 years - I'm sure I can figure out how you found that out!!!!!1

Hey, the next photoshop contest (you have to be a paying member to see them before they are posted for the general public) on Fark.com is at 1:44pm today and is the photo of Ann Coulter sitting on her porch shooting at something. I'm gonna try entering.. any ideas for what to do to the photo?

I bought a 26 cu. ft. Whirlpool side by side when we built this house. It has some features I really like-such as being able to adjust the shelves in both the freezer and refrigerator doors up or down to hold tall soda bottles, freezer packages, etc. I also brought our 26 year old Frigidaire from the house we are selling, because it still works great. I use it for a "beer box" and extra food.

I need a couple of pine trees, Robert. If you would be so kind as to pack me up a couple this winter? Actually, if yours are long needle pines, I don't think they will grow here-not enough dirt, as you know. But if they are the Jalepinso (sp?) variety of Pinon, they like rocky, thin soil and will grow here.

Since Whirlpool is making the Kenmore ones, I think it may be a good choice. But 26 years? That's amazing.

They'll get my pager number when they pry my cold, dead fingers off the belt clip!
