This is simply not a breed which makes for a household pet.

Pit bulls can make fantastic family pets if you train them properly. I can attest to that.

Like bulls, these creeps BREED pit bulls to be nasty. If you take one from a reputable breeder, bred for temprament, and raise him right, they can be wonderful dogs.
But these creeps that fight them breed for fighting dogs. That's why they often have to euthanize even the puppies.

Pit bulls are no worse than many other breeds. In fact, it is the indoor breeds that are most likely to bite.

"This is simply not a breed which makes for a household pet."Some homeowners insurance companies agree. The premium is high and the alternative is getting rid of the dog. The people we know chose to get rid of the dog. No insurance--no mortgage.

All dogs bite, I wouldn't have a dog large enough to require more than a few stitches around my family.

You have no clue about pitbulls. They make great pets, unfortunatley, they are abused & taught to attack by low life scum. If you bothered to find out about the history of the breed, you would know that human agggression is an abberration in the breed that was always exterminated. It was not until the drug losers & gands got ahold of the breed and took advantage of the breeds "eagerness to please their owner" that the problems began.
