In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Fluid on knee, caused by over exuberance because of the Carolina - Jax game kept me up all night!!!!! Lots of upsets yesterday - Miami got whupped! Can't believe it!!!!
Florida teams just ain't got it! Can't wait to see if Clemson's "Baby Bowden" beats FSU Seminoles "Papa Bowden" this year!

Football is overrated. I try not to put much faith in how a bunch of kids will act under stress (college). Or how much a bunch of overpaid druggie will throw into a contest (Pro).

I like football too - college and pro - but you are definitely right about overpaid babies......lol...... All of the whining and drug problems is what turned me against the Cowboys.........

I watched one game Saturday. Bama didn't win but they played a respectable game against Oklahoma. If it had been on during the day I would probably have been outside. Fall is the best time of year and TV is not my high point when the weather is as nice as it is.
