I am going to buy her latest CD. I consider this a VERY refreshing contrast to Mr. Depp's comments.

She's still a slut.

But I thought she was supposed to be the embodiment of all that is evil after she kissed Madonna on TV?

FYI ping.
Not all entertainers are jerks. Ms. Spears is okay by me.

She's smart enough to know that spitting on him (al la VicheyChix) is a stupid move, and so stands in his corner. Whether she actually believes it is anyone's guess, but I'll give her the benefit of doubt.

It's good to know not all "entertainers" give in to peer pressure.

After her little "smooch" with Madonna, I guess its already clear that she's swinging for bush.

Quite a while ago, Brit was giving an interview to a UK mag and they asked her about GWB...expecting the usual leftist twaddle, they were very surprised when she said she believed Bush had high morals and values, which are important to a President.
Like her or don't; call her a slut or don't. And God knows I don't like some of the things she's done. But I still like her. When you compare her to people like Sarandon, Depp, Clooney, Robbins, etc. etc. it's actually pretty brave for someone in Holywood not to trash Bush at every opportunity. IMHO.

I hope she campaigns for W and Arnold.
She has the power to wipe out the Hollywood Left.
Susan Sarandon is thinking "whats a hasbeen like me to do?"
Martin Sheen and Ed Asner are stuck in their hot tub.

BRITNEY COMES OUT SWINGING FOR BUSHDamning by faint praise. I guess since the nitwit Britney supports Jr., we should all hitch our wagon to him. Do you actually put any stock in what this talentless, clueless, transient entertainment vapor has to say?

Read what Spears actually says. There's no indication she necessarily even knows who the president is.

Who knows what the truth is coming from the mouths of these creatures. Recall the election in 2000 when that paragon of Republican virtues, Marilyn Manson, came out strongly in favor of the Bush ticket. Oh yeah, Britney is a great conservative.
Hooray!
IMHO, the movement can do a great deal more without these people as baggage than it can with them.

Wow! How great it is to see such a Deep Thinker endorse our president!
Seriously... how deeply are we supposed to take a vapid pop-culture diva's political opinions? If she arrives at a good opinion, hurray! But let's not put too much stock in it, lest we're prepared to put the same stock toward Johnny Depp, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Lang, and Barbra Streisand.

She's savvy enough to like her tax cut, big time!
And, she's savvy enough to know the value of a man's character is critical for holding the highest elected office of the USA.

I'm going to strive for consistency: I don't care what some celebrity says unless it is egregiously anti-American. I truly don't care what B. Spears thinks about geo-politics.

Three years ago, my fiance and I took in a little white jack russell stray, who was, shall we say, looking rather dilapidated. She was muddy, covered in ticks, and stunk like hell. Feeling we needed to sex her up a bit (our male Jack has a champion pedigree) we decided to name her Britney.
Well, she's lookin' real pretty these days. I'm guessing the sex-symbol namesake thing did her some good. Britney the ....uh...."artist"...hasn't been doing so well these days, however. My mom called me tonight and told me we needed to change our Jack's name after the whole lesbian fiasco on MTV. Then I check out the Drudge Report....Guess our little princess gets to keep her name afterall
