In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
opacity \O*pac"i*ty\, noun:

The opacity of the logic of Runaway Dems has truly baffled me, don't they realize they are acting more like children than the adults they purport to be?

Good Morning Students. Welcome to class!
Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book; the whip and chair.
Russia Tuesday successfully test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear weapon, Interfax quoted a senior navy official as saying.
I hope no one forgets that Russia is still a powerful nation in it's own right, and the opacity of information coming out of there should not go unmonitored.
Rattling sabers we do see
Sending missiles to the sea
Don't use logic opacity
They're not friends to me and thee.

Yesterday, John Kerry (-Dullard, Mass) announced his candidacy for the White House with an Aircraft Carrier as a background, hoping it would dwarf the opacity of his otherwise dull campaign, and intellect. "Liveshot", as he is affectionately known to the Talk Radio crowd, believes that just appearing before a TV camera makes a politician look brighter than your average 15-watt bulb. In his case, this is true. Barely.
