It's an old western saying, and indicates nothing but an "In Your Face" attitude.
Servant of the Nine is not in the Tarzan series.
He is in a couple of parody takeoff Porno SCi-Fi novels by Phillip Jose Farmer, "A Feast Unknown" and "The Mad Goblin".
The name was chosen to make conspiracy theorists froth at the mouth. It obviously signifies some type of secret society membership, but is sufficiently obscure that it is not one they have ever heard of. The books have been out of print since the early '70s.
That's all there is to it, no endorsement of any ideas or theories in the novels, just hocus pocus.
It's used in Philly .. and it is an in "In Your Face" attitude ... with a little Philly twist .. *L*

And death does come, in the form of disease. The unbelieving villages and towns are raided by warriors wearing Jaguar costumes. They merely scratch their victims with disease infected leopard paws and let the disease run its course. Grandrith's mission is stop and kill Barcuna and to end the disease. He is accompanied by a female doctor who knows nothing of the Nine.- Tarzan
What I thought was interesting in this TARZAN series was your attitude towards human life and what the agenda of the Servant of Nine!
You say Tarzan has nothing with your user name yet as I read these senario's uou must admit your feeling towards life is cheap that you might have entertained your idea of human race! Anyway it stuck a chord!
"Although it is likely that Grandrith had been secretly receiving the elixir from birth, he was offered the elixir as an adult and brought into the inner circle of the Nine as one of their most favored servants. All of this was due to a schism inside the Nine. After several millennia of helping to shape history and embarking on a human breeding program, Grandrith should have been the culmination of their project. However, the Nine had heard of the reports of at least two other ape men who resembled Grandrith and more disturbingly, resembled the Undying God much closer than did Grandrith" -Tarzan
Beyond all this sillyiness I am baffled why your heart is so indifferent and hard!
