Pretty photo of your yard Gran. I miss Fall down here...the seasons pretty much run together here, you have to really pay attention to note the differences.
Cheers from Chile

I'm using the Canon G2.. I love it.. Guess what, Gateway is coming out with a 6 mega-pixel camera real soon and it's going to run around $299. I'm dying to see what it's like.

G'day horse. I love the seasons, and yes even still love winter, even tho we spend it in FL. I do miss the snowstorms with the fireplace burning. But.. my arthritis thanks me.. ;)
To: Cuttnhorse
Believe it or not..we are showing little bits of color on some trees already. I hope it's a pretty fall.

"...anybody want a kitten?Sure, put a couple in a box and mail them to me. Providing they make it here, they'll have to make friends with the rotties.
To: sweetliberty
Yep... fall is coming. The shadows are getting long and deep. Sighhh.. I do like the cooler weather tho.. It's been nice for sleeping.

I miss the heck out of winter in Idaho...feeding cows at -20 makes you feel alive. Here we just get more fog in the winter...we can tell when it's summer because the fog burns off at 2pm.

Actually our youngest rottie was raised with a manx kitten and the two were a riot. Our rotts have always gotten along well with cats; we have lots of photos of our cats snoozing with the dogs.
To: grannie9
Wow! That should be something. Mine is a Canon Power Shot A300. I believe it is 3.2 mega-pixels.

When dogs and cats are raised together it is amazing how well they get along. We had a large chocolate standard poodle once and he thought our cat Merlin was a chew toy. Apparently Merlin liked the job so he didn't complain....too much, except on those occasions when he got pinned down and chewed on in the snow and came in with snowballs dangling off of him. Then we'd have to put him in a tub of warm water to melt them down. Only cat I ever saw that liked a bath. I guess it felt pretty good compared to the snowballs.

We're getting ready to have our pool painted...again. Seems the guys either don't have access to quality pool paint or they do a lousy prep job, but we end up painting the pool floor every season.
To: grannie9
Nice pool Gran .. Wish I could put one here .. but it's about the size of my backyard .. LOL

LOL! Our young rott also thought the cat was a chew toy and used to drag the thing around by the hind leg. The poor cat would be soaked with dog drool and would put up with it for some reason.
It has been awhile...I'm getting involved in a new project located in Peru, but I think were good to stay here in Chile at least until May 2004. Not looking forward to having to move to Peru, especially after living where we are. We are probably living in the nicest city in South America and anything else is going to be a step down.
If I go to Peru, I think the wife will head back to Idaho. I'll be in the sticks working and would rather have her home among friends than living in Lima.

I, on the other hand, realize
that human life is cheap. I have not been "Bambified" by the "All Life is Precious" propaganda of the Liberals and the Hyper Religious.
It is in great surplus.
I don't have any compunctions about killing someone, whether walking around breathing, or as yet unborn, if it seems apropriate.

You call yourself Conservative your really an ANARCHIST!
I did not put a link to that rebellious page because it promotes ANARCHY and is contrary to Constitution of the United States!
After reading your words some believe you are a nice person with a big heart!
Your words and attitude are willful, reveal contempt for your fellowman, you make it difficult to love you!
