Kitty Caption XVIII - Showing Dogs Whose Boss (Humor/Meow Alerts)

Tuesday. Long weekend over. BACK TO WORK.

Two pictures this week (one classic and one new). First the classic. Many of you have seen this picture before, but you may not know the story behind it. This police dog unit uses a cat marching in front as a final exam. If the dog approaches the cat (or makes barking sounds), the dog fails the examination and is rejected from police service.

Here is the new picture. Cat having some fun with one of the dogs who failed said examination. This is why beagels don't make good police dogs.

Is your "big ole cat" a girl? Usually boy cats are more accepting...if you have feline-like patience.

Our four feisty female felines wouldn't accept a big beautiful yellow boy who wandered in and we regretted having to find another home for him. All our cats are strays and when they come out of the woods to your back door you don't have much choice of what sex they're going to be. Why only females have come knocking is a mystery.

Why only females have come knocking is a mystery.

Two of the last three who showed up (and moved in) were PREGNANT females. Eeek! I got 5 kittens from those two... it would have been 6, but a dog got to one of the litters :( .

Only one pregnant female showed up here and she had one girl which we kept. The other two strays were kittens and that brought ut to four female felines. A wonderful male showed up but the girls kicked him out. We miss him but the girls don't.

Did you keep any of the kittens, i.e. do you have a large pride there?
