Mine's even cooler when you know the story behind it: We've implemented a poll-watching program here, to end the kind of rampant election fraud that took place in 2000.
Recently, we had a highly-contested special election here, and our poll-watching efforts received some publicity. In a newspaper story about the election, which mentioned the poll-watching program, the state Demonrat chairman referred to us as "GOP vigilantes" - and claimed that we were there to "intimidate" legitimate voters. This, while the demonrats here are complicit in election fraud, and the demonrat governor just vetoed a bill that would require voters show ID at the polls.
So, I've adopted the whole GOP Vigilante thing as a tagline - and I even made t-shirts.
