I would never even TOUCH most GPL source code let alone steal it and I DO write most of my own source (Except when I BUY third party redistributable componants or use BSD/MIT/PD stuff). "Most" is a weasel word. If you don't touch *ANY* GPL source code then you have nothing to worry about as the GPL won't affect anything you write. I don't see the problem you are having with the GPL unless you are using GPL code. If you don't want to abide by the terms of the license, then stay away from it. It's pretty simple.

My concerns are that there are ANTI AMERICANS running this GPL show and I share the same concern about Microsoft. Actually anyone posting on a site whose first graphic you see is the AMERICAN EAGLE and calling itself FREE REPUBLIC should be having these concerns too. don't you think?.
And don't tell me that Free Republic runs on Linux. That is probably just a result of posters probably not contributing to FReepaThons and othe promotions here as readily as we should. They would probably prefer something a little more stable and AMERICAN like a Sun Solaris for x86 solution themselves.
