Kazaa lite is v. good but the usual places to download it have been killed off. There was a great Netherlands site and now it's gone. There's a German (de) site which has a pop up when you want to download it. I don't know what the pop up is saying


Latest greatest kazaa lite version 2.41 k+++ can be downloaded via the Kazaalite program

I'm old fashioned and not really into high-tech, but my neighborhood friends and I have developed a really great way to share books and literature. Each of us installs a new door on his house with no locks and no keys. That way we can go right into each other's houses at any time and swap the materials from our libraries. Neat, huh?

I like LimeWire and BearShare but I am not certain of their security.

The full Kazaa ("Media Desktop") installs no fewer than 75 separate and distinct spyware and malware elements on your PC. (Trust me and ad-aware for the count). It will not run once you remove the offending spyware.
