Lions In the Shade
Posted on 08/30/2003 11:28:38 PM PDT by 2nd_Amendment_Defender
Imagine that you are a bush pilot on the African veldt. You fly in some critical medical supplies, enjoy a quick lunch at the hospital and are eager to get to your next appointment. It's a stifling 100 degrees in the shade.
You return to your plane to find that the only bit of shade within a mile has become very popular, in your absence ...
You calculate the distance to the plane door ...
Whad'ya say? Feeling lucky today?

One of you.
Ten lions.
I'd have to put my money on the lions.

Unless, of course, they're from Detroit...if so, you got made.
You'd make it to the door before they even realized you were there!!!

"Oh my what a dilema!"
Yeah. What to invest in:
1. Remote starting for the plane.
2. A case of flash/bang grenades.
3. A tasty-looking antelope, with an obvious limp.
