She sounds just like mine!!!!!!
She crawled about 10 feet at 8 months and never did it again - once she took those first few steps, I was sunk. she hasn't stopped running since!!!!!!
Your description of the temper is identical.

this school thing is driving me nuts.
I did NOT know kindergarten is full day - now I really know I've got to get her transferred to the other school.
My stomach has been in knots all afternoon and will continue to be so until I talk to the guy at the school board TOMORROW.

you don't want all day K? i was glad that St James had all day K. they have lots of recess and a naptime, etc. With half day, by the time they get there it is already time to start packing up to come home.

The all day K blows the after school program for me unless I am able to get her transferred to the school near the program.
had anyone told me that - I wouldn't have bothered going through all the grief I've been dealing with and would have put in the 2 week notice required for getting her out of day care. If I can't get it switched - I've got to pay for the next 2 weeks even though she will not be attending.

I've been trying to get the change of school for weeks - It's times like this I wish I still lived in Delaware - 1 phone call and it would have all been taken care of with a whole lot of 'sorry for your inconvenience.'
Unfortunately I'm new around here - I don't know nobody.
But this school district is a major part of the reason we chose to live here.

ROFLOL. You are going to start a new trend of words.
Actually I agree, but young men are not known for the brains, and I will give him some (very small amount) of credit for being honest.... but it still bothers me that he married into the Kennedy's and some of his views are... less than what I would like to see, but also, give the devil his due, he can't be worse than Davis.

Hey Texan, are you anywhere near San Antonio? The Houston Freepers are planning a Shoot for Sept. 6th, would you be interested in coming?

Fantastic piece of writing. It helps that I agreed with her premise from the start. I'll have to read the Right & Wrong book of hers now. She's been on Liddy's radio show and was impressive in her arguments.

So they're playing for the other team now?

Ok Kiddies, I need a sub for tomorrow.
We've hired a new person and I have to go do HR thingies tomorrow morning.
But the plus side of it all, is we're seeing the IT market starting heading in the right direction.
I've done more HR functions in this last week than I've done in a 6 months. YIPPY!
To: RikaStrom
I like your YIPPY!!!!!!
Unfortunately I can't help you out - wish I could.

Loved the list! It's hard to find something funny that doesn't just bash them into the ground. And Arnold was brave enough to tackle #19.
