As much as I hate to admit this, Joe Biden actually did something worthwhile for our troops.
Air conditioners to fly out of Dover
And I think it's' way cool that Rush got behind the effort with money and not just mouth.

Morning!!!
Have you been getting the same horrendous thunderstorms that we have the past few days.
I know the ones on Tuesday did some damage in the DC area.

You should have been with us when I opened the classroom at the same time every morning, now they were serious pranksters in those days.
To: RikaStrom
Are you kidding, it's just as bad here because we are at the narrower end of the peninsula.

yes there have been horrible t-storms the past two days. lots of power outages. though, miraculously enough, we didn't lose power at our house. there are actually school cancellations in MD bc there are schools w/o power.

By touting the issue of race
Texas democrats seek to make a case.
But farmers give tacit approval
To these racists' ultimate removal.

We were sitting outside on Tuesday about 7 when the sky to the north of us started getting really black and the wind picked up.
All of a sudden I realized that the sound I was hearing was not just the wind in the trees behind us, but the rain just on the other side of them.
We had just enough time to get our chairs and the dogs in the house before the sky openned up on us!!!!!!
I had 2 jumpy dogs and a jumpy kid because of the intense and frequent lightning - but we never lost power.

the sky got dark fast last night also, around 7pm, we were in the puppy K class and were facing the wall of windows and could see the lightening. xs2pup was scared enough of the other dogs that he didn't notice the storm. : )
