Dear Friends one and all

It is not my nature
Nor was it my intent
To cause ill will
I just needed to vent

So I tell you I’m sorry
I take it all back
And admit that it is
Just good manners I lack

I know I was wrong
I must blame it on the bard
To steer him correctly
Sometimes is hard

The words flow
Metered to rhyme
Perhaps the words
Will become nicer in time

For now, this inner bard
Has an axe to grind
He really means no harm
Pay him no mind

So forgive me, I beg of you
Let’s bury the axe
You do your thing
And I’ll try to relax
