Thus, I have never seen the award-laden Williams sisters in an ad for anything. But who said life was fair?

Good points---I should have said the Williams sisters have been in far *less* ads and probably made far less in endorsements than Anna Kournikova. The sisters by and large have not won the public's imagination (the father's bullying behavior being a small part), with all their victories, as a Billie Jean King, Chris Evert, and Virginia Wade. I notice Martina Navratalova was rarely in ads, for good reasons, obviously.
