I used to watch "Dark Shadows" in the summertime when I was out of school.

I did too. I believe it was done live, or else it wasn't edited, so when someone flubbed their lines, that's the way it ran. And that flying "bat" was priceless!

Are you using treated 2x3/4 treated wood lattice, or are you springing for the nice, expensive vinyl? I wanted it for the arbor I'm going to put on the side deck, but it was too rich for my blood. I ended up with the treated wood lattice, instead.

It was live, indeed. There were some really classic bloopers on it, too. I'll have to go see if anyone has them listed on a website. The bat was definately low tech, even for the time.
