On F&F this morning, ED is wearing the world's ugliest dress, circa 1972?
To: secret garden

after a very trying day yesterday with a leaking kitchen sink, and xshub taking a half day off of work to spend with the repairman who did NOT finish it bc MOEN did NOT send the proper parts, i still have a kitchen sink that i cannot use. so as for tonight's dinner plan for xsbrownie's teacher? we are going to eat at the sports bar down the street, and i will bring her back for dessert. this was decided at 9pm last night, as i sat on the verge of a nervous breakdown looking around the kitchen, where the contents of the cupboard below the sink were in a big box, and the doors were open to allow it to DRY OUT under there....

It is an ugly bile green/khaki shirtdress, with top stitching in white, pointy collar, breast pockets, straight from the early 70s. And she's going with the serious hair today, French twist or bun.
To: xsmommy
Sounds like a good idea. What are you having for dessert? The Naked Chef was playing with chocolate recipes last night.
To: secret garden
the serious hair is preferable to that tousled, flyaway mop that she sometimes does.

Perhaps it would have been a good day for ED to "do a Sharon Stone"... thereby diverting attention away from the atrocious hairdo and ghastly dress?

she's pregnant you perv! Ohhhhh.... so she's already tried the Sharon Stone approch, then?
To: Gabz
yes, i am perfectly comfortable with this plan. i really like this girl, and xsbrownie adores her. she tutored her this summer twice a week, at her house (cool bachelorette pad where she lives with 2 room mates, very glamorous for the 9 yo xsbrownie to go there!). so i think we will have fun wherever we go, and it will be just us girls and the teacher.

I'm six courses away from my degree, I hope it doesn't take me another year and a half to finish them. Hang in there; I wish you all the best ... sometimes I wonder how I've functioned without one!
To: Flurry
the requisite part won't be here til friday, MOEN is the problem, not the plumber, but thanks for offering!

The hair looks okay, but where in the hell did she find that dress? My hubby's army fatigues are a more attractive color.
