Authorities said Franzman was wearing a full wet suit, goggles, and fins when she was attacked about 75 yards from the beach, and that she may have been mistaken for a seal.

"Being in a wet suit with fins, moving in a slower pace ... the other seals moving faster. It appears to be an injured or sick seal, which is typically a food source for sharks," San Luis Obisbo County Sheriff's Department Lt. Martin Basti said.

No, I haven't been on the Arnold threads. But I can hardly bear to click on any of them at this point. I just want to go back to the blissful state of disinterest I was in before Clinton's rise to power. Life was so much simpler. I used to be very easy-going and laid back, even creative, and when I got mad it was over things that affected my immediate environment, like a flat tire or the kids spilling something on the floor.

I hate liberals for what they have done to this country and I hate the way I have become as a result. We might as well accept it. It will never be the same again. Common sense has deferred to lunacy for far too long and decadence and corruption have the upper hand over everything that is decent and good. I have no reason to even believe that God will turn it around in response to our prayers because we are reaping what we have sown. A genuine sense of security has become a thing of the past and I don't see much hoipe for that to change this side of heaven. I hope I'm wrong. Yes, I'm having a bad day. < /rant >
