Usually people do a good job of keeping AKC breds apart. Usually when one parent is AKC it's mommy and no one is sure who climbed the fence.

there were 2 great letter to the editor in the Delaware paper this morning. One dealing with the Church:

Mocking Catholics as a group is unfair
I found a recent cartoon depicting the pope with a young boy disgusting and reprehensible. Child molestation is a serious crime, certainly not a topic of entertainment for Sunday morning.
Furthermore, the cartoon is inaccurate as the Vatican harshly denounced priests who committed such an act. These men used the Catholic Church because it was a convenient way to hide their deviance. All Catholics are their victims.
I don't think you would use murderer Rabbi Fred Neulander to disparage the Jewish community, nor do I think you would use Jesse Jackson's extra-marital fatherhood as an opportunity to take pot shots at African-Americans. So why do you think it's OK to have open season on Catholics?

And the other about an editorial about Biden bowing out of the presidential race:

Delaware has a lot of embarrassments
An editorial mentioned that Sen. Joseph Biden's decision not to run for president has dampened state pride. Things like gambling, water quality, heroin use among teens, low school test scores, traffic, coastal development, the stupid smoking ban, Motiva's disregard for clean air standards dampen my pride. One thing that has restored it is the Naamans kids going to the Little League World Series.

I can't believe the Urinal printed either of them.

I was totally shocked that they were printed. although I have noticed of late they have been printing a few more letters that are opposite or even in opposition of their editorial stance on a lot of issues.

There was a time when nothing was on the editorial pages or letter page that contradicted anything they said.
