In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
scintilla \sin-TIL-uh\, noun

1. A tiny or scarcely detectable amount; the slightest particle; a trace
2. A spark; a flash.
3. Miniscule
In victory, they must hold on to at least a scintilla of humility, lest they get too cocky -- and ripe for a takedown.
--Bill Breen, "'We are literally trying to stop time,'" Fast Company, May 2000
Etymology: Latin scintilla, "a spark, a glimmer, a faint trace." Also from scintilla is the verb scintillate, "to sparkle."

You may be the first person I've met who actually listens to the band while you're straight.

I actually have an Insane Clown Posse cassette tape..... they are pretty horrifying and obsene and offensive. It's the kind of music my best friend and I listen to when we are in the car together. Eminem is another fav of ours for our car rides. We rarely get to see each other these days though since she moved. If we are hanging around the house we listen to the much more tame Tori Amos.

Good Idea. Grandmother's can be a pain on grandsons. My mom still acts like Flurry Jr's poop didn't stink. Heck he was her 5th or 6th grandson, she wasn't that way about the others.

Hank (Jr.),Johnny, and David Allen Coe are all tolerable...going from there, the closest I can tolerate is suthren Rock, or Rockabilly.

"Sorry, LOL, but Country Music....isn't CRAP". I liked Pink Floyd, ELP, Led Zep, and a lot of other's but the only decent new music is coming out of Nashville. Other than that I'll take Classic and Oldies.
