Etymology: Latin scintilla, "a spark, a glimmer, a faint trace." Also from scintilla is the verb scintillate, "to sparkle."

Since he doesn't know about the party, I wouldn't bother with it. You don't need the stress. Call your cousin and explain that he has been a handful today and you don't want to ruin anyone else's fun. Then when hubby gets home take a nice long bubble bath and let hubby deal with the situation for an hour. And let him fish out the keys.

As for your mother - she'll get over it.

As for the fishtank - I understand where you are coming from. Jax learned real fast about not tormenting the dogs after she got nipped once or twice and I took the dogs' side.
