Good Morning Students. Welcome to class!

Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book; the whip and chair.

"We need to know more about how long this feature (the dome) has been in existence. If it's been there for quite a while, perhaps it's relatively stable and doesn't pose any significant hazard."

They are talking about a volcano that is in Yellowstone Lake. Apparently, no one ever told it that just because you've been dormant for a while means you're relatively safe. There has been no good tracking data on any such phenomena, we've only been really monitoring things for the last 100 years or so, the Earth is older than that by an order of a magnitude. Such cavalier comments of "no significant hazard" show a certain attenuation of understanding. In the scheme of things, if that puppy blows in the next 20 years, that's SOON! But then again, to be fair, it may not do anything for another 20,000 years. I would just hate to bet the pot on it not doing something, I would be more inclined to bet that it will do something, and something spectacular at that. Although if it erupts, we can kiss Seattle goodbye.

Explosive find, of the volcano kind.

Arrogant, with no contemplation
Leads to a gargantuan eruption
More thought; less attenuation
Might save a Yellowstone vacation!

I watched a drunk eating a salad one night. He complained that the lettuce was too chewy and complained to the waitess. He pulled a piece of the offending lettuce out of his mouth and waving it said, see. The waitress said sir that isn't lettuce it's money and it appears that it's attenuate.

Morning!

The runaway dumocrats are quiet
After attempting to start a riot.
Public opinion attenuates their position
And puts it in a shabby condition.

The Clintons will try to attenuate the Bush presidency so Hillary can have a chance in 2004. Her next big move will be to divorce Bill, settle the lawsuit, then the campaign will begin early next year.

I hope one day that there will be a drug which will attenuate Terry McAwful's mouth.

Hi Rika. Give me an 'F' and show me the thermos.

I'm afraid that this has severely attenuated my appetite for breakfast.

And...The Reason Why Arianna Huffington Is The Funniest Woman In Politics #4,589:

Anyone care to know why Gray Davis' support has attenuated? The guy is just too darn conservative!

That gal slays me, she really does.

Denise Richards (and other hot babes too numerous to mention) makes a certain part of my anatomy which shall remain nameless stand at attention. Hillary makes it "stand" at attenuation.

Rush Limbaugh claims to have attenuated Gray Davis's playbook with his declaration that Arnold is not a conservative. The reasoning is "Now Davis can't attack the recall as a right wing whacko stunt" because the front runner is not a conservative.

Sounds like Rush wants some credit for Governor Schwartzenegger.

Good Afternoon, Rika, and the rest of the verbivores, I humbly apologize for my absence, but my communications activities have taken a lot of my time...

Ok, my lame attempt:

Here in Pennsylvania, the Dumbocrats managed to garner enough support from the idjits who formed "Republicans for Rendell", to have this sleazebag elected Governor. Now, predictably, he is following Noo Joisy's Dim gov, and is trying to run the state into the ground, just like he ran Philly into the ground. This, of course, is a calculated political move to discredit the Administration in WashDC, and to garner support from his loyal voting bloc in the urban areas, whom I will not describe lest I be branded a racist bigot. This attempt must be attenuated by multiple FReeps, big enough to even make the liberal media cover same. Since the average PA sheeple doesn't have the slightest idea of what is happening, it is imperative that we set our attenuators on HIGH, say 50db or so (sorry, communicatons joke) and get the word out about what really is the agenda that the Rendell (King of the bankruptors) is doing to our great state. I would suggest a MASSIVE FReep, one that even the big 3 agitprop outlets can't ignore. If any PA FReeper has any ideas about such a FReep, let me know by FReepmail, or on this thread.

It's not too late yet, but, from talking to various people, they seem to me more concerned with the budget slash and burn (I was talking to the local librarians for this viewpoint) than the true Dumbocrat agenda which, if given a chance to have a Dim controlled House and Senate, will predictably lead to the usual massive firarms grabbing plan, Massachusetts style firearms ban by "smart gun" requirements which, of course, dont exist, and no property tax reform, which in PA at least is a very hot button issue. The NEA and their Communist Cadre are of course, pushing for more money in the trough to feed from. It is imperative that these moves be attenuated, heavily, and soon before the snowball gets bigger than can be stopped.

Keep the Faith for Freedom
