i was going to ask how you all felt about giving dogs real food. Talking about dog food is often like talking religion or politics. However....
Every Body is different. I use kibble because I am NOT raising wolves. I use Eucanuba, Nature's Recipe, and Nutra Nuggets. I have cooked for my dogs - I will NOT feed raw (salmonella); they aren't going to eat anything that I wouldn't eat, and yes, I've eaten the kibble.
Cooking for them is not as easy as it sounds, if you do it right. You need about 50% protein to about 50% carbs, plus veggies, plus vitamins, plus calcium (not too much, or you'll cause real serious problems).
I have a 13 yr old Akita with no health problems who's been on kibble his entire life. No problems.

In my former line of work, "BIF" is the acronym for "borderline intellectual functioning", which is having an IQ below 85, but above 68.

My dogs eat Kibbles and Chunks, although they used to eat Kibbles and Bits and Bits and Bits and Bits. Those Bits got all over the floor. They would spit out the orange long things. LOL!
I got someone angry with me here.
See post 155. Sheesh, what did I do? Expose reality?
