Good Afternoon, Rika, and the rest of the verbivores, I humbly apologize for my absence, but my communications activities have taken a lot of my time...
Ok, my lame attempt:
Here in Pennsylvania, the Dumbocrats managed to garner enough support from the idjits who formed "Republicans for Rendell", to have this sleazebag elected Governor. Now, predictably, he is following Noo Joisy's Dim gov, and is trying to run the state into the ground, just like he ran Philly into the ground. This, of course, is a calculated political move to discredit the Administration in WashDC, and to garner support from his loyal voting bloc in the urban areas, whom I will not describe lest I be branded a racist bigot. This attempt must be attenuated by multiple FReeps, big enough to even make the liberal media cover same. Since the average PA sheeple doesn't have the slightest idea of what is happening, it is imperative that we set our attenuators on HIGH, say 50db or so (sorry, communicatons joke) and get the word out about what really is the agenda that the Rendell (King of the bankruptors) is doing to our great state. I would suggest a MASSIVE FReep, one that even the big 3 agitprop outlets can't ignore. If any PA FReeper has any ideas about such a FReep, let me know by FReepmail, or on this thread.
It's not too late yet, but, from talking to various people, they seem to me more concerned with the budget slash and burn (I was talking to the local librarians for this viewpoint) than the true Dumbocrat agenda which, if given a chance to have a Dim controlled House and Senate, will predictably lead to the usual massive firarms grabbing plan, Massachusetts style firearms ban by "smart gun" requirements which, of course, dont exist, and no property tax reform, which in PA at least is a very hot button issue. The NEA and their Communist Cadre are of course, pushing for more money in the trough to feed from. It is imperative that these moves be attenuated, heavily, and soon before the snowball gets bigger than can be stopped.

Hang on till October. I think it will all get better after the meetings with that James Coburn lookalike. Keep the faith! James Coburn? Wasn't he an actor or something like that?
But if you're referring the the archbishop of Canterbury, a statement he made a few days ago makes me dubious. But there is also a conference of Forward in Faith in London early October (which our rector will be attending).

Hubby's aunt had a small dog that lived to be 19. By the end she had to spoon feed it every meal and it was blind and deaf. It didn't die of natural causes either. He broke his hip jumping off a chair and she let the vet put him to sleep because the recovery would be unlikely at his age. She has a cockatiel that is now 20something yrs old that she got the same time as the dog. She must take awesome care of her animals.
